As Rex and the women talked about what had happened across the Realms. Rex was glad that he was able to protect the three Realms from the bat.
Having the First to Fourth Realms already protected was amazing. Even he did not know how amazing it truly was.
The Fifth Realm would become in dire need of help eventually. As for right now, it was not terrible.
The same could not be said for Granter and Frulen. Yes, they needed to stay with Rex and help communicate about what is needed through the Realms.
Already losing a Realm was not an option. Granter also knew that if she tried to forcibly help it would ruin her relationship with him.
Granter and Frulen both stayed up to talk. They had to decide how they wanted to play the next couple of days to.
It was not that they wanted to make these decisions on their own. They wanted to give Rex extra opinions on what was needed.
"I believe that it is best to ask to go down and figure out the situation before it becomes too bad." Granter spoke her decisions.
"Yes. That would honestly be for the best. There is a person whom you are forgetting about. That person is the Spider Queen Death."
The duo stopped in their thoughts when they thought about her. She was incredibly strong and has a lot of ways to deal with the Shadow People.
What truly caught their attention was that she was the grandmother to someone named Deathholder.
The duo asked how long it would be before she could be free. The Spider Queen Death at the time did not know how long it was going to be.
Granter decided to talk to Rex in the morning and see what he believes is in the best interest of the Fifth Realm.
Meanwhile
"Yeah, this is truly what is depressing." Rex thought.
He could not sleep currently. He tried and tried to sleep but he could not thinking about the Fifth Realm.
He finally made his decision. He would ask either Granter or Frulen to keep extra tabs on the Fifth Realm.
Even if it felt that it was not going to last. One of them would immediately be taken to the Fifth Realm with him to help control the War in that Realm.
Iris who was sleeping beside of him felt that a decision was being made without her. This made her to stir awake. She blinked at first to refocus on the man beside her.
When she truly realized that he was not asleep. She tried to gently tap him towards her.
Rex felt the tapping and looked over towards her. He saw that she was confused for some reason.
"Hey Iris, what is wrong?" Rex was confused when spoke.
That confusion led Iris to believe that he was trying too hard to think of anything to speak of currently.
"What is on your mind?" Iris spoke.
This was just basically her on autopilot. Not everything was trying to go normally now but this needed to be dealt with now.
"The Fifth Realm." Rex wanted to be honest.
This caused her heart to tighten up just a tiny bit. She knew how hard it would be to reclaim the Fifth Realm.
"Why not ask the Stairway if it will take either Granter or Frulen down to the Fifth Realm tomorrow?" Iris thought hard about this reply.
She knew either way it was not going to be the way he wanted it to happen.
She also knew that one Realm would without a doubt would fall. They cannot rely on the demons currently.
If it was some weaker ones maybe that would go unnoticed by the Shadow People in the Demon Realm but that did not mean anything.
They were not sure if any would truly be able to leave now or not. That gave Rex an idea. A very good and evil idea.
"Iris call Lilith for me." Rex commanded.
Iris went and got her communication talisman that is directly connected to Lilith. She put her Qi into it and a portal opened in the Demon Realm showing Lilith getting ready for bed.
"Lilith, as the Demon King I have to make a hard decision. There is the Fifth Mortal Realm that is either going to be lost or going to need a lot of work to be rebuilt.
As the Demon King, I have made the decision that rebuilding is better. Send whoever who can and however you can into the Fifth Realm to help decide on the victor in that Realm.
If the Shadow People there need to send some of their reinforcements into there. Prepare for War to ensure that they cannot send as many as they want to." Rex gave the command.
"I follow the Demon King's command." Lilith replied.
She hated that Rex had to do this. She hated that she had to reply like that. She was not going to let a Mortal Realm fall. She could a favor in or two and get help in the Demon Realm if needed.
She went and forced ten of her maids to go and gather exactly one hundred demons that could go into the Fifth Mortal Realm and help them out.
When the demons were awakened during the night. They rushed to Lilith's mansion to ensure that everything would go smoothly.
When they entered, Lilith was sitting in a very well open area.
"Tonight, each of you will be getting twenty men from Diablo's army. Your goal is simple.
Keep the Fifth Realm from falling into enemy hands.
I have some extra people from the Heavenly Realms coming down. These people are ones that typically do not fight or try to advance anymore.
Prepare yourselves. For when each of you enter the Fifth Mortal Realm along with the twenty from Diablo's army. You will be given a strict command from the Demon King himself."
Those words struck hard unto the demons. They never believed that the Demon King would give them a direct order.
