Sending almost two thousand demons into the Fifth Mortal Realm was going to be hard.
First, each demon that she got was getting twenty from Diablo. Since there was one hundred of them that does equal two thousand. However she also needed to add some other demons into the mix to directly talk to her.
Second, ensuring that the Fifth Realm stayed protected was much harder than one would think currently. The demons know how to track the Shadow People however that is pretty much it. Actually dealing with them is another matter.
While the demons were planning to enter that night. The Shadow People around them figured what they were going to do. They had no plans to stop them.
The biggest reason for that is no one is trying to go through their camp nor try to make things hard for them. Why waste resources when it is not necessary?
They also decided not to tell the Shadow King for one simple reason. Knowing which Realm or Realms they were sending reinforcements to was unknown.
The biggest thing they knew was that someone very powerful ordered this. They had heard of the Demon King and Demon God from the day.
Their bets was on the Demon King because he had already been to their home world. They could not let the Demon God out of the decision due to the gods that keep the peace within the Realms.
The demons successfully entered the Fifth Realm. Amber was the first to welcome them once they were led to her by the two snake maids.
Justor followed behind Amber and welcoming them. The two snake maids then bowed to the demons.
Five experienced demons walked forward. They were picked by Zeus and Hades to lead the armies when they were not present.
They introduced themselves as Uzroth, Januth, Garkas, Gagral, and Sugthon. Each of them were going to lead twenty platoons to wherever they needed to.
Amber listened to them patiently. She decided to ask them who was the greater fighter in melee and Qi.
Gagral raised his hand for melee and Sugthon for Qi. Gagral would be on the inside with his platoons fighting while Sugthon would be on the walls with his platoons firing at the Shadow People.
Amber asked which two of them would be good for tracking down the strays that has left the castle grounds.
No one answered because each of them were not terrible but the communication between the platoons would be very necessary. All three of the reminding demon commanders talked to each other without much worry. The same goes for the first two already chosen.
Amber sighed not getting any response so she then changed the question.
"Since we are not getting anywhere with the last question. Tell me which one of you could help guard around the castle to ensure that no more Shadow People can leave from around here?"
The silence once again made Amber mad.
"Can I choose another profession?" Gagral asked.
Amber was now furious that he wanted to change but did not show it.
"What do you wish to do?" Amber asked.
"Allow me to explain how we should be placed. If you agree with this, it would help a lot around the castle. However, it would leave only one group to find the stragglers." Gagral explained.
This made sense to Amber but actually hearing it from someone else made her wish to do this from the beginning.
"Go on." Amber said.
"Thank you, Milady. We will keep Sugthon and his platoon firing Qi blasts from the castle walls. Garkas although he is not as good as me in melee would be a better choice for the melee inside the castle. Januth and I would each take two sides of the castle to ensure that no Shadow People leave from those sides. That would leave Uzroth to go around and try to find the Shadow People." Gagral spoke.
Amber did like that plan. It would be much harder for the Shadow People to leave but it would be a lot harder to track down the Shadow People who have already left.
"I agree with this plan only if the best of the best leave with Uzroth. We cannot have the Shadow People actually able to destroy too much of the rebuilt Fifth Realm." Amber explained.
They bowed in unison.
"I do not care if the platoons are rebuilt or not. I have to have the best of the best searching. I also need the best of the best in Qi fighting to be on the walls. As for everyone else, it does not matter." Amber wanted to ensure that the command was understood.
The five demon commanders left to rebuild the platoons. Each of the platoons was rebuilt, the first was for the best of the best in Qi fighting. Where fifteen platoons were already prepared for that, the few here and there did not even make half of another platoon. Instead of keeping them together the commanders decided to keep at least two good range fighter within the other commanders. Yes one would get a third but that was for Uzroth. Fifteen of the best platoon fighters were selected to be moved around.
Five went directly to Garkas to be fighting inside the castle walls. Four went to Uzroth to ensure that if they found the Shadow People fighting them would be easy.
Two went to the others. Since Sugthon already had seventeen platoons already allowing him to get some decent Qi fighters and melee users in three platoons was enough.
He led his twenty platoons to wherever they would be stationed. Ensuring that Uzroth would be able to fight the Shadow People was second. It was not the best solution but since it came down to it that is what happened.
When he was ready with his twenty platoons. They left. As for the other platoons, the better fighting melee platoons were put directly inside the castle. Of course, the two platoons with the better Qi fighters were stationed by the gates and allowed to stay there.
Gagral and Januth both stationed their men around the castle. Now all they had to do was wait for the morning to come.
