Chapter 1102 - Chapter 1099 The Shadow King's Final Decision on the War

Inside of the Shadow Realm

The people inside were going about their daily lives. Although loved ones were fighting in a war. No one was truly worried about their deaths.

Inside of the throne room, the Shadow King had a group of people talking to him. He zoned them out for the most part because it was always the same old thing in different words.

As the Shadow King looked towards one particular cloaked person. He felt as if this person can change his view on how the War should be pushed further.

"As for myself," this was the person who the Shadow King was looking at, "I believe that the best course of action is to send the prototype charged beast."

Everyone looked at him. His smug smile told everyone that they had underestimated his knowledge.

"That prototype is still barely tested. We cannot send something that dangerous into a War. We will lose soldiers to that monster!" The one directly to the left of the man slammed his hands into the table they were standing at.

"It is a prototype but we will have to eventually have to send it anyways. Why not try it next instead of sending more soldiers who will be captured, big units in which will fail and become a part of the enemy, and better yet, the other thing that is supposed to be powerful but yet somehow we can never get it to work properly.

Which of the ones mentioned sounds better to each of you?" The man gave his smug smile again.

"I vote against it for tomorrow. I am not saying that we will have to send it eventually. There are tests going on it right now. Yes, everything will become down to the needy greedy. If we get positive or even neutral readings back from the test. We can send it into War." The one beside the King spoke.

The King seemed interested in this prototype. He knew better than most to actually hold anything in light manner against the onew he was speaking in front of.

"Everyone listen, I am the final verdict." The King wanted to put a stop to this before it actually became too rough.

All of the men calmed down and turned their attention to the Shadow King.

The Shadow King looked at each of them. He was determined to make the most of this moment. He also had to ensure that nothing would go wrong with it.

"The prototype charged beast is indeed too powerful currently to send straight into War. I do want to know how many more tests have to be done."

Everyone looked at each other afraid that the King would behead them for the correct answer. Even still, the one two away one the right decided to be truthful.

"Currently, ten tests have been fully completed. It is because each time a test was started either the beast would start to rampage and we would have to put it into a sleeping state. That was the most common or it would start to shut down the tests themselves due to how much charged particles is in the beast itself.

We have gotten extremely good feedback from the completed tests. The first one is the ability test. It can mimic our speed and shadow jumps while still not even having the cloak on.

The second test was endurance. It can hold out against even the most trained units. We have captured some the most powerful from across the universe and faced them one versus one and the beast does not even get a chance to fully enjoy the match before chewing down on the opponent.

The third test was pure attack. It registered a higher attack than even the most metallic big unit we have by a long shot.

The fourth test was compatibility. This test was not good. It would consider everyone who he sat his eyes on as an enemy. This is the most important test currently going on. As long as we can get this neutral or positive into liking us. We can win the war.

The fifth test was the breeding test. It will not breed unless we truly give it a reason to. Even leaving it with a female mate neither one wanted anything to do with each other.

We left them alone for almost a month and watched them through surveillance and they did not want to procreate."

The Shadow King raised his hand. The man stopped.

"So currently, we are either risking our lives in a win or lost by releasing the beast?" The Shadow King asked.

Everyone nodded.

This was going to be the hardest decision that he could come up with. Yes, sending the charged beasts into a Realm would be the best thing to happen but with how special the War was actually going. This would define how the War actually ended.

Before he could make an official decision on the matter. A soldier came running in. His eyes wide with shock.

"Reporting to the Shadow King about the deaths of the Magus twins."

That alone solidified the decision that the Shadow King would make.

"They were teleported into the highest Realm that the place where the War is taking place. One them touched one of the Goddesses and spoke to her. A roar utterly destroyed their cloak and their Soul before their bones could even get shattered." The soldier told them.

Everyone's eyes went wide with shock. To think that such would happen. Just how strong was this Goddess if one roar could shatter everything before their death.

"Send the first charged beast into the War. Ensure that the only thing going in is that beast. I do not want anything or anyone else entering the Realms tomorrow. Send word to all of the Realms that tomorrow night one Realm will get a strong beast and the morning after."

That alone solidified how Rex would spend the next night and the following day fighting for dear life.
