The night passed slowly within the Realms. Rex was feeling somewhat scared about the next day. He did not know why this came to him.
Iris sleeping peacefully beside of him did not want to be disturbed. Rex did not want to awaken her but his nerves was truly going haywire.
Finally, Iris hugged him a little tighter ensuring that he could get some sleep during the night. Rex was compelled into slumber it was not a good sleep but sleep nonetheless.
Iris woke up during the night feeling uneasy. She saw that Rex was not peacefully sleeping. Then she looked at her arms tightly around him as if afraid he would leave her alone during the night.
She did lighten the lease on Rex but still kept him pretty close to her. As she felt his uneasiness crawl into her. One of the maids knocked on the door.
Iris was angered that someone would knock on the door before sunrise. She gently let Rex go and answered the door.
As soon as she saw one of the maids from the Royal Family. Iris was immediately shut down when a paper was handed to her.
"Important news for all humans and Shadow People, we are sending in two charged beasts into the Realms. The first one will be the following night and the morning after.
If there are any casualties from the Shadow People side, we will not be able to reclaim the souls of those perished from the charged beasts.
Signed by the current Shadow King"
Iris did not know what this charged beast was and did not want to learn about it.
Rex also woke up when Iris left the bed. Once the door closed behind her. Rex knew that something major had just changed the Mortal Realms.
"I need to know." He thought.
He walked out of the room. Iris did not know what to do with the paper in hand. Once the door opened again behind her. She was already feeling uneasy about the whole situation.
"Rex, what do we do?" Iris handed him the paper.
Once the paper was read and the information was spread. Rex himself was not sure. He could use the Royal Knights to help keep some of the information close to him but it was not without issue.
Frulen was immediately called to get Seraphina, Luna, and the Spider Queen Death into the call.
Seraphina heard the explanation and could not leave because the moment she does. The entire Third Realm would go into flames.
Seraphina got told to explain the situation to the Shadow People. They became afraid because a couple of the soldiers knew the beast that was coming.
No one dared to move out of their safe holding spot. They wanted nothing more than to cry themselves to sleep and forget what they heard about.
Seraphina took the guys straight into the Ninth Realm. When the two Shadow People came face to face with Rex. They knew he was the Demon King that had invaded their lands before.
"The charged beast is a new type beast recently discovered. It was supposed to be a prototype of a beast that can not only mimic us as a Shadow Person but it also learns on the fly in battle.
I have seen it fought countless of the strongest people within the other worlds. The second prototype is even more dangerous because of the fact that it is indeed already got all of the knowledge from the first one but it has been under training.
Right now, the best way to absolutely kill it. Is to have it enter into a fire pit of destruction. That would be the best way to outright kill it immediately.
If it learns any move from anyone. It will adapt into a battle beast with more experience than anything can take." The first one finished.
"However, there is one other way to kill this beast. It will be extremely risky and get someone killed. That way is to rub its belly while being cushioned on top of someone.
To get it into its stomach is so hard that no one even gets a second chance if it happens. A blinding light will block out everything if no one is under it. We did not develop that weakness. This creature was already born with that weakness.
Even we have to lose people in order to calm down the raging beast. I truly hope that they do not release the beast into this area." The other Shadow Person spoke.
Rex thought about which Realms that would be targeted. The Third and Fourth Realm would either be on the top or bottom of the listing. The Sixth Realm would be just above the the other two.
As for the other Mortal Realms, Rex was unsure how to properly use the people to ensure that everything would come out alright even without having to lose people.
Meanwhile
"Those bastards!" The Shadow People in the Demon Realm shouted.
They knew that either way too much lost would happen either way.
"Come on. We are going to talk with Lilith about securing many people down here immediately." The commander in charge of the army spoke to his assistant.
"We would be considered traitors!" The assistant shouted.
"I would rather be called a traitor than to see thousands upon thousands of my people die in vain because of the current Shadow King releasing not only one beast that can absolutely slaughter millions without mercy but two of them!" The commander spoke in fury.
He left the going to go get Lilith to listen to reason while millions of lives were put into jeopardy because of the decision of the Shadow King.
The soldiers heard how the commander spoke. They agreed with him. The assistant was trying to call the Shadow King to get the commander killed but his fruits were for naught because the soldiers were going to kill the assistant and ensure that their commander is still right in the eyes of the Shadow King.
