Chapter 83 - Late-night Visitors

Over the course of three months, the transformation of Castle Horomiir was nothing short of remarkable. Gerard walked through the once-dilapidated observatory. Previously crumbling and overgrown with weeds, it stood as a splendid greenhouse and the castle's primary food source. As Gerard took a deep breath, a rich, earthy aroma brought him peace of mind. The aroma of moist soil, compost, and decaying plant matter mingled in the air. A reminder of the life and growth happening all around.

The various vegetables showcased what would soon become their successful first harvest. Vibrant green hues of carrot tops poked out of their planter boxes, and beans climbed their trellises. Rows of lush spinach glistened from a fresh watering session.

Gerard acknowledged the workers in the greenhouse before heading through the castle and into the courtyard.
