Zara winced in pain as the maids helped her to get up. She was a really bad state from the fight. Her clothes were dirtied and messy, hair disheveled and her face bruised. She was crying while holding her waist which seemed to have been broken after the guard threw her aside.
She looked nothing like a young lady from an aristocratic family but more like a shrew from the market. Sasha quickly rushed to her side with a worried look. "Are you okay?".She asked. Zara bite her lips, crying in grievance but her eyes were still staring viciously at Reina.
"Are you okay". The guard who was helping Reina asked her in a low voice. Reina's face was also bruised and her hair was messy but she was in a better condition than her counterpart. She raised her eyes to respond to the guard but her eyes widen with shock when she realized who was kneeling in front of her. "I'm here now". The man whispered to her Seeing him, Reina said in low voice.
"I'm tired. Please hug me".He nodded and carried her exhausted body into his arms. He stood up to leave with her but an angry Zara hurled, "Where are you taking that bitch. She must pay for what she has done. She can't leave from here." She rushed to stand in front of them, intending to block them from leaving.
The man looked at her with an oppressed anger, his dangerous aura set him apart from the other guards."Get lost" He said coldly. Zara subconsciously stepped aside out of fear , trembling. "Haven't you had enough of humiliating yourself. You've lost." Giselle chastised her. She left the place with Nina and her own assistant.
Now that the gathering had turned into a joke, the other ladies quickly found reasons to depart from there. She wanted to humiliate Reina but now the joke is on her, Zara was extremely unhappy. Axel hugged Reina tightly, his eyes filled with heartache. He watched over this little girl like his treasure and when he doesn't dare to even bully her but others dared to bully her to this extent.
Only God knows how he wished he could tear Zara to shred. When Aaron finally discovered the whereabouts of Reina, he had pulled some strings to get him inside the Zelkowicz mansion as a guard. He was happy and looking forward to seeing Reina again but who would've thought he'll find her in this situation.
Up until now, he still doesn't know what Reina is doing in this place and why she had to lie that she was working abroad. With Nina's guidance, he brought to Reina to her room room at the Lake house. Axel placed Reina on the bed and was surprised at his surrounding.
This bedroom doesn't look like the room of a maid and his suspicion increased even more. Nina quickly rushed to get the first aide kit to treat Reina's injury. "Please leave now. Thank you for bringing Miss back but other men are not allowed here". Nina said. Axel ignored her words, refusing to leave as he continued to stare at Reina who didn't dare to meet his gaze.
Realizing he was ignoring her words, Nina took a protective stand in front of Reina while looking at Axel wearily, she said"Please leave. Other male aren't allowed here. If you don't leave now, I'll call the other guards to apprehend you".
Reina grabbed Nina's wrist to get her attention. Nina turned and looked at her with a confused expression."Don't call anyone. He won't harm me". Reina explained. "But Miss if the heir finds out about this he won't be happy with you". Nina protested.
"Trust me. I'll explain everything to Harry when he comes back. Can you please let me speak with him alone. You go and get your face treated. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine". Nina looked at Reina and then at the cold looking man and felt reluctant to leave but had to walk out in the end. But not before warning Axel, "If you dare do anything to my Miss, my boss will cut you into a thousand pieces. Humph". After Nina left, Axel took the first aide kit, opened it and began to treat Reina's injuries.
"Aww!! Be gentle. It hurts". Reina cried softly, wincing in pain.
"You know that it'll hurt right, yet you went ahead to fight someone. She didn't beat you well enough".Axel spat. He has always had a sharp mouth, while talking he'll never go easy on anyone. Reina pouted and rolled her eyes, "Are you blind? Didn't you see that girl's condition, she's in a much more worse situation than me. I'm sure she'll be hiding her face for a while unlike me. l only got this superficial wounds".Reina blabbered. Axel rolled her eyes at her as he continued to treat her scratched arm.
On the other hand, with tears running down her cheeks, Zara arrived at the house to make a complaint to Old madame. When Old madame saw her messy hair, torn and dirtied dress face bruised with scratches and her cheek swollen with five fingerprint on them, her expression turned flabbergasted.
"Old madame, you must seek justice for me".Zara cried. "Who did this to you? Who's so bold to lay a hand on a member of the Zelkowicz clan". Old madame asked, her voice was extremely fierce.
"Old madame, it's that savage beast staying at the lake house. That Reina bitch cause all this. She was the one who harmed me. She just went berserk because I said I few things to her". Zara replied, blaming everything on Reina. Old madame became furious.
How could such a thing happen and didn't even bother to try to get to the bottom of what had truly happened. She was biased towards Zara and instantly believed her, after all, one was the dignified Miss of a wealthy family while the other was just an insignificant girl who was no different from a servant.
"Who does that young lady think she is to do this to you?. Call the police to come and get her from here now". Old madame ordered. Zara smiled triumphantly. That bitch will rot behind bars.
"No grandma. You can't do that". Giselle was wheeled inside just in time hear Old madame's declaration. "Are you going to defend that girl?. She dares to hurt your cousin sister?". Old madame asked, clearly unhappy. Giselle turned to look at the crying Zara and spoke decisively, "She deserves it for being so arrogant, tyrannical and unreasonable. She has no manners and treats others like they're a piece of garbage. As her older sister who couldn't teach her how to behave due to my condition, I borrowed Reina's hands to put her in the right direction. In other words, everything that happened to her was my intention. If grandma wants to punish somebody then it can only be me".
Infuriated, Zara pointed her finger at her,"You...you...you.. you are spouting nonsense to protect that bitch. That slutty bitch abused me and you're defending her" Zara yelled. "Have you seen it, grandma? A noble lady like her is using vulgar words like a shrew on the street. She's the one bringing shame to our family's name". Giselle continued to add on her bad virtues. Old madame looked at Zara who's face was distorted and filled with malice and anger and couldn't help but feel disappointed. She really didn't look like a well educated and elegant lady. Sighing, she dropped the idea of getting Reina arrested
."Take the young lady to her room, call the doctor to treat her injury and when she's well, send her back to her family". Old madame ordered. Zara was even more furious when she realized that not only did she failed to get Reina punished but she also got kicked out of the mansion. She protested but Old madame was having none of it.
Zara felt her hatred for Reina increased a thousandfold. She's now her nemesis and she'll make her pay for today's humiliation.
