Grace paused slightly, surprised that the Captain would ask such a question.
She thought for a moment before speaking, "I hope that life as it is now can continue. I like this kind of life where everyone is happy, and there are no more wars at sea, finally no one is dying."
Charles reached out and caressed her pockmarked face, "I thought you might want your wounds to heal, to be honest. When I made you into a bomb before, did you hate me?"
Grace shook her head in denial, "Not at all, if my injuries can help everyone, I don't regret it! And..."
Grace hesitated, a hint of bitterness in her smile, "Back in the Western Sea, there weren't any boys who liked me anyway, so it doesn't matter if I'm ugly."
Charles looked at the young girl in front of him, still so insecure. "Don't be so unconfident, you're now a member of the Unicorne, and you can pick any man on the island; whoever you choose, we'll help you get him."
