My vision slowly fading back from the attack I blocked last second, sundering my shield, I drop the held strap the was once attached to my sheild. Letting out a breathy rumbling growl I gripped the handle of my longsword. I swung as I heard the beast from the shadows charging at me from behind. It slipped under the swing before I met it's claws with a strike from my hand, gripoing tightly our fingers interlocked the creature tried to brute froce me back.
Locked in a hold with one hand it attempted to throw a flurry of claws at my face with the other, all deflected by my sword. Now with one hand held into it's and out others locked sword to armored scales, my second snarl escaped. The tall humanoid creature with small but jagged bone like horns and wicked claws attempted to snap at me. This beast was thoroughly confused when I smacked it's head to the side with my snout and planted a devastating onto its collarbone, a satisfying "Crunch" heard as my teeth punched through it's armor shattering bones.
I leaned back releasing my sword and grabbed it's other wrist, I threw the creature at the nearby tree before qickly mounting it's back letting out a victory cry as a Gnoll who one single combat. Not long after a could of the other Gnolls came and collected the attacker to take prison.
