Tony waited by the golden silk gate a day after grey left whilst talking to the guard to past the time.
He remembered leader of the golden fang forest questioning him for a bit about what happened. Just the memory of how deeply he thought he was in trouble still gave him shivers.
The leader had a serious aura around him while his wife was a powerful teir Four wolf spider that watch his every move.
After talking for a while golo came to the gate riding cocoa waving towards Tony.
They chatted for a few seconds talking about meaningless things until Rex and Maria came up casually talking about making a male submits to them like it was no big deal.
Tony clapped his hands together "Ok now that everyone is together let's find a area to talk. I know a decent place to eat and talk, OH and ludè can you put their gate tab on me I'll handle it before we leave with interest."
The guard boar he was talking to earlier nodded "you also owe me a meal for scaring the crap out of me with yesterdays stunt."
Tony chuckled at that comment "please you half asleep just barley watching while your boss was talking me."
The boar quickly shooed away the group so he could pretend to look busy.
Rex looked around for bit curiously "is grey already inside sleeping in?"
Tony let out a deep sigh before speaking "I'll explain to everyone why he can't join us today and other things."
Everyone exchanged looks for a moment as Tony lead the way through the beautiful city with animals of all kinds walking by and talking as if it was perfectly normal.
They entered a small mound that lead to an underground restaurant big enough to multiple elephants let along one big boney bear.
Tony picked a table and gestured to them to take a seat around the stone table.
Maria was the first to speak up "ok! No more beating around the bush… why isn't grey here and what is the plan for us to be meeting up like this?"
Tony ordered a drink of just milk and chugged it before explaining. "Ok so first greys matter is pretty personal so before we get into that do you remember the reason we all decided to meet on the night of a full moon?"
Cocoa stared blankly towards the small toad as voice echoed in an almost whisper only loud enough for those at the table to hear her "something to do with the memories we got from the holy lion and the deal that we will challenge him sometime in the future I believe."
Tony nodded "yes we already decided to hunt and train together at least once a month to defeat the lion when the time comes… but I was thinking of us becoming a permanent team hunting together like we did against the crows, we could still do our own things but we'd do major things as a group."
Golo quickly cut in "Again what does this have to do with grey not being here at this moment."
"To sum it up greys home will be raided by a pack of foxes. He should still be running full speed back to his home. He started running since yesterday morning after I told him about it and I gave a way for me to get to him immediately when he actives it."
Everyone looked at Tony in surprise for various different reasons.
Maria spoke up in her usual arrogant voice "But why do you seem so invested into this I mean we barley know each other. That one fight was more about survival than anything else really."
Rex was the only one that seemed angered by her words before Tony responded.
"There is a benefit to helping him for us all if that's what your looking for. He is a recently awakened rabbit already at mid tier two meaning a future powerhouse will owe you a favor."
"But why are ~yooouuu~ so invested in this Maria asked intentionally stressing the you for every to hear.
"TCH, fine if you must know his mother is a powerful alchemist that he said is willing to teach a outsider like me, as for you cocoa and golo I know your out for revenge he is getting his own private land protected by a demigod in exchange for some mission he has to do you can use that as your rest area between all your fighting."
"As for you miss buzz unclaimed territory can be a hassle to find or fight for… ~right~"
Tony said with a smug face obviously taunting the arrogant bee.
"Oh oh oh me. What about me what do I get. I should be included to shouldn't I." Rex said with excitement in her voice as she raised her wing in the air like a student.
Tony looked at her for a few seconds puzzled "look I'm good at gathering information which was only boosted by my new memories and my new rune but even I don't know what you want… maybe ask grey yourself?"
Rex sat back down slouching whilst she pouted with a "Hmph"
"We can skip over the fact that you know a lot of information and that your now a low teir three beast for now but how will we all make it there in time?" Golo asked confused.
Tony had a arrogant smirk "leave that to me"
Karma was laying on the roof of the song's house staring at the clouds "they're coming tomorrow and I feel like I haven't down enough."
Winter who was right beside him gently patted his head. "It's ok we did all we can to prepare so enjoy your rest now and be prepared for tomorrow."
Karma turned his head towards her with watery eyes "I feel so much anger and sadness because of them! They are the reason my home and friends are gone! They are the reason my sister was almost eaten but… but yet I'm mad at myself more?"
Winter pulled the poor confused boy into a cold embrace. "You know we hares have a saying may Selena guide our lost souls. It means no one knows what life holds until death except the gods so it's ok to lose your way for a bit just come back when it's your time."
The sat there enjoying the moment watching greys siblings play with a grass ball with shin and zinc as the sun set.
Meanwhile greys body slowly returned to it's normal grey color letting out a weak whisper "meat… meat, I need meat, I need MORE!"
Violet who was dozing off nearby quickly jumped up at the sudden sounds.
"Of course if that's what my child needs I'll get but just… just stay with us. Please I can't handle another major lost." She said weakly as she left.
Greys ear twitched slightly at her word as he couldn't do much but heal faster. He turned his eyes slightly to look around and saw a quartz crystal glowing slightly in the corner.
In the far off distance a groups of foxes were gathering around a much bigger Fox.
He had glowing white fur as he was surrounded by a cold mist like scarf constantly floating around him.
"Brothers and sisters lately we have been struggling eating just berries and mice, but thanks to a special trade we don't need to worry about the carrot council interfering with our hunts anymore. The two burrows we attacked had enough rabbit meat wandering but this next on is filled with plenty for us to munch on so enjoy yourselves for we attack at noon tomorrow!" He shouted with pure excitement on his face.
Scarlet stared at him from a distance thinking to herself 'TCH, this is where you and your followers die leaving me in charge. I even get a new toy out of this deal." He smile looked almost like a crazed daze.
