Back at near wright family mansion Flos was outside personally training his daughter to use a bow while Hugo the butler was helping Adam develop his darkness not to far away when. Adam stopped moving and stared deeply into the woods as if something was coming at him.
This caught the attention of everyone nearby, Hugo was the first to ask "sir Adam? Is everything alright I sense nothing nearby."
Adam shook his head slightly "no, I just sensed something really powerful is close to death nearby."
Flos walked to Adam curiously "I thought your rune was darkness not death?"
Adam shook his head "no we of the grave tribe are very sensitive to the dead while the other two tribes specialize with something else. It's how we nonmagical species with short lives live."
"Ok Hugo take Lily inside please, it seems Adam is going to need her energy later to summon Adam again while I investigate."
Hugo agreed and took Lily inside as Adam was unsummoned to save energy.
Flos walked through the forest towards the area Adam said, he has two hatchets ready in each hand in case as he approached.
Heavy breathing was heard behind a tree as well as some blood dripping pooling around the tree.
Flos walked around the tree to see who it was only to see his mentor Steve orgins there bruised and bleeding.
"Master!!! Wha- what happened to you? Are ok? Where have you been?" Flos asked as he ran up to the inured man summoning a potion from his inventory and gently giving it to Steve.
He slowly drank the bottle as his wounds healed his breathing slowly started to steady.
"Slow down and only ask one thing at a time little ace." He said with a weak smile while trying to lighten the mood.
Flos frowned "I'm more than your ace student now, I'm a father now come to my home we can talk in there, it seems a lot has happened since you went out to explore the world."
Steve just nodded silently as Flos helped him walk to the wright mansion.
A bit later in Flos dining room only Steve, Hugo and Flos was there as all the servants were given an early leave.
But Steve noticed the two children hiding under the table inside the shadow.
A dark elf girl and a undead homan. "Now what I'm about tell you was discovered by alter ego or as we call him my soul brother."
Hugo interrupted with a curious expression "you mean your one of those people born with two souls in one body?"
Steve nodded slightly "yes we are very rare but I've met others like me but that's a story for another time. There nine creatures I discovered that are changing the world as we know it and four of them are after your daughter."
Hugo and flos gulped deeply as a bit of sweat fell. And Lily almost gasped loudly.
"First is the entity from the future the abyssal claw that's trying kill any anomaly's he created be being here or recruite them so nothing stands in his way of global destruction."
Hugo eyes sparked for a moment "because of the laws of balance his presence is giving birth to those that could possibly stop him so he's trying stop that?"
Steve face gave a empty smile "unfortunately, yes and there's more Cleo dark the wife of the abyss that the gods sealed she needs a powerful summoner and a few others to unlocked the gates he is sealed in."
This time Flos realized something "So the daughter of the greatest summoner ever is possibly the best key for that along with the other possible keys."
Steve's silence was all the answer they needed "then there's Clot gaze a black slime creature that was summoned from another world and possessed his summoner. According to his followers elves with summoning powers summon them from space and time so few other worlds know we steal their people as summons to fight. And he believes no race should hold that power so he's trying to exterminate all elves so no one can summon anything ever again as we are the only race with this power somehow."
Everyone just stared in shock. At the thought that summoners were taking creatures from other planets and they knew about it.
Steve let out a deep sigh. "there's also ferrum molfram a rat hosting a negative elderitch creature. She doesn't work with them but assists them on a whim but her end goal is to absorb negative energy we just don't know how yet. But while she is assisting them she might be the easiest to convince to stay out of this since she's only trying to feed her master not kill everyone we just need more information."
Flos nodded "i see, what about our allies?"
Steve chuckled at that "honestly you only have two the other three are neutral parties that have the power to change everything but aren't on any sides yet. First there's Brian veils the creature… no my soul brother that lives inside of me. But the abyssal claw was after him to capture him luckily we fought them of. And then there's Alex blade the orc of chaos and the apostle of the blood goddess, honestly although he is a follower of chaos he has a strong sense of justice."
Flos smiled a wide smile. "Lucky me I know his father so I'll try contacting him what about the other three?"
Steve continued "the three neutral party's are Clay dark the child of Cleo and the abyss but he ran away and is enjoying a simple farm life away from everyone with the family he made, and I doubt he'll let his father and mother destroy his new happy life."
Hugo stepped in "he might be their child but that doesn't mean he wants to destroy the world but we should be wary he might not be willing but powerful bloodline can force their children to obey no matter what."
This time Steve looked surprised "oh I forgot we high elves can command regular elves, hmmm it's possible I'll keep that in mind."
"Lastly the two demigods that give the gods a headache chad Norris the elf connected to infinity and his rival John Acorn squirrel beast who's also connected to infinity. These two demigods gods are extremely powerful but since only the other could match them they are always competing as they can't actually lose to anyone else. We need them to be on our side or stay out of this as they both could defeat every else own their own."
Flos body shuddered "I know this two that rejected the gods multiple times without consequence and destroyed a kingdom on their own, they were uncontrollable monsters that did whatever they wanted until they met each other. Their battle turned the Eden Forrest into a dessert and know they are always competing out of boredom."
Hugo scratched his chin "all these folks are extremely powerful but we have two actively targeting the young miss while the third wants all elves dead and the fourth only seems to see the others as a business deal from what you said. Hmm if we prove useful or more valuable then them she might help us."
Steve's eyes went completely white as Brian came out his voice a quiet echo "all nine of us have the power to destroy environments and kingdoms in one way or another and the way the gods are acting a massive war will soon break out and we will be the key players. The problem is the abyssal claw he tried stealing my soul and when that didn't work he stole some of Steve's blood."
Flos slammed his fist into the table "only dark alchemist mess with souls and blood meaning even if they don't join him their bloodlines and corpses will become his soldiers."
"But we just need to get to them first and either warn them or recruit them."
Brian shook his henlad gently "it's not that easy me and Steve have been being attacked non stop for two months by the abyssal claw and his clones with little rest, if you send just anyone they will die after leading the way."
"However based on my observations the orc to join for sure as his goddess is looking for an vessel at this moment so the goddess of blood and chaos will be on our side along with her two apostles the blood orc and whoever she chooses to be her second."
Flos interrupted "Exept other apostles can interfere too. And if they are involved the angels and vessels will join in so the way things seem it looks like a world war is coming and my little baby girl is at the center of it… my dear please guide me!" A few tears fell down his face.
Brian coldly interrupted after Flos stopped talking "we will go to the demigods and talk to them, Flos you should talk to Clay from one family man to another and finally I think Lily should talk to the orc."
"What the hell did you say!!" Flos screamed at the top of his lungs scaring Lily in the shadows. "Brian I respect you as one of my masters that taught a runeless elf like me to use raw flow and become something. BUT! That is my baby girl your talking about so you better have a good reason?"
Brian just nodded. "Well yes we discussed this at length and the blood orc has sworn off violence after he destroyed le'surg kindom with clay during a revolution. But he will never hurt a child, he is a creature of immense empathy and chaos, he likes the freedom of chaos and lives in seclusion by the mountains near the schools she's going to so he can always look after her and train her."
"Nope! No! Nuh uh! Never not in a million years that creature is a a danger!" Flos shouted again.
Brain stared at Flos emotionlessly "We thought this might happen but it's her decision so let's ask her… Lily could you please come out from the table?"
Hugo looked puzzled as he didn't sense anything and Flos had look of realization.
A shadow slow crept from the table as Adam slow stood from the shadow while gently pulling Lily up by the hand.
"Seems death is coming for all with the young lady at center. It pleases me great to know I can guard the key to the gates of hell to keep to keep the balance of the dead." Adam said happily with a creepy smile.
Lily thought hard for a moment "I know it's dangerous but if I wanna survive against all these I need to become stronger because I won't always have someone around to protect me."
Hugo and Brian nodded like proud uncles while her father looked like a sick puppy that was told no. "Buh buh but what about umm?"
Brian patted Lily on the shoulders proudly "lets this while your father is still mentally broken and recovering."
"Ok!" Lily said cheerfully.
