She flew before the Titan. With her mouth agape, as a beam of space like light converged around her mouth.
Then, with a thunderous roar, she unleashed the beam at the Titan and the hordes of writhing monsters behind it. The beam didn't explode but it erased, everything it touched, leaving only silence and scorched earth.
Melina landed lightly, the dust around her feet spiraling upward as if gravity itself bent in her presence. She raised a single hand and snapped her fingers.
Immediately, space rifts tore open the sky. Each rift spun violently, carving through monsters as though they were paper, severing limbs and torsos with no resistance.
With a calm sweep of her arm, she summoned more rifts, these ones were different. They opened beneath the remaining beasts, sucking them in with the sound of howling winds and crunching bones. Agonized monster cries echoed briefly, then silence.
