Ivan's POV.
I looked at her as she got up from the bed and wrapped the blanket around her. She was looking beautiful even in her messy hair. She shot me a glare and rolled her eyes. I smiled and got up.
"Let me deal with it " I said covering the stain of blood on the sheets.
"I won't thank you though " she said and stood aside. I gently removed the sheet and folded it into the laundry basket.
"Are you just going to leave it here?" She asked
"I will wash it tomorrow " I replied taking out new sheets from my wardrobe. I made the bed and I could feel her eyes on me throughout the process. Only God knows how happy I was for making her mine. She was a virgin indeed and I'm proud to say I am the one who broke her virginity.
"Are you feeling sore?" I asked and she nodded.
"I will be right back " I said and went to get her some pain relief medication. She took it and I helped her on the bed. I laid beside her but she was just looking at the ceiling.
"Are you okay Amara?"
"I'm fine " she smiled and turned to me.
"About what happened… do you want to talk ?" I asked.
"I prefer not … I don't regret anything Ivan so please go to sleep " she replied and turned to the other side .
"I like you! " I said and saw a grin on her face from the mirror.
Amara's POV
I got up in the morning and noticed Ivan wasn't by my side.
"Ivan?" I called out , wondering where he was . I took one of his shirt since I couldn't find where he had placed my dress. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. I was looking good in his shirt and I actually felt good.
"Ivan?" I called out , descending the stairs.
"Are you looking for me " he showed his face from the kitchen. He was wearing an apron and in his hands was a knife.
"Are you cooking for me again !" I blushed
"I told you I can never let my guests go hungry " he said staring at me from head to toe
"Erm sorry for the shirt… I couldn't find my dress" I said feeling embarrassed
"It looks good on you" he said and I smiled
"Can I help?" I asked leaning on the kitchen counter.
"Just a little!" He smiled
"What can I do ?"
"Come!" He said, wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me.
"I didn't give you permission to do that !" I smiled
"That's how you can help… you can sit behind the table and wait for me " he smiled and I nodded. I admired him from where I was sitting, hoping and dreaming we will be like this forever.
"TA daa!" He said and placed a plate in front of me.
"Thanks chef Ivan and what have we got here!" I smiled
"Well I've got you scrambled eggs, some mashed potatoes and chicken wings and this over here is all natural orange juice " he said and bowed lightly
"Silly!" I smiled and rolled my eyes
"Thanks " I said and begun to eat. The doorbell rung as we were eating and Ivan went to open.
"Chloe! Mom!" He said and I got up immediately.
"Are you surprised to see me ?" Chloe said and walked inside. She glared at me and looked at me from head to toe.
"Amara!" Beatrice smiled looking at me. I was in a dress but I felt naked. I was so embarrassed that I wished I could disappear.
"Why are you in Ivan's clothes… what's going on Ivan?" Chloe said.
"She stained her dress !" Ivan replied before I could speak.
"Come on Chloe don't be jealous… Ivan has eyes for only you !" Beatrice said and my heart skipped a beat . I looked at Ivan hoping he would say something but he was quiet. "Was what his mom talking about true… did he only use me " I thought, my heart aching.
"I'm fully aware Beatrice and I know you adore me" she replied
"I'm so happy you are with my son!" Beatrice smiled and sat down.
"You can never cheat on me right?" Chloe asked moving towards me . Ivan glanced at me then looked at Chloe.
"Make her mind feel at ease son … be a gentleman!" Beatrice teased . He shook his head and Chloe kissed him. That was enough drama! My heart couldn't take it any longer! I needed to get out of here as soon as possible. It was all my fault for falling for a guy like him. I run up to his room and quickly changed into my dress which I found in his closet. I thought Ivan would follow me and explain his behavior downstairs to me but he never did . I swallowed the lump in my throat, holding in my tears. "You are strong Amara!" I said to myself and opened the door . As I was descending the stairs, I saw Ivan climbing.
"I will ignore him" I foolishly thought thinking he would stop to talk to me but to my surprise he passed by me without saying a word. I turned to look at him but he didn't once turn back.
"Damn!" I thought as a tear dropped off my eyes . Never have I experienced this kind of pain ever in my life. My heart felt as if it was being ripped off and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
"Are you okay Amara!" Beatrice interrupted my thoughts.
"I'm fine…something fell on my eye" I replied, wiping my eyes with my handkerchief.
"Oh dear … sorry " she said pitifully.
"Thanks " I feigned a smile.
"I would like to take my leave please say hi to Daniella for me when she wakes up " I said and she nodded .
"Say hi to your mom for me when she gets back "
"I will!" I hugged her and descended to the living room.
"Are you leaving already!" Chloe walked proudly towards me .
"What do you want?" I rolled my eyes
"I'm just wondering why you are leaving so soon … I thought you were having breakfast " she said
"I finished my plate!"
"Okay…" she said moving backwards.
"Are you done! Can I leave now!" I said rudely.
"I'm not… do you think I believe that fairy tale Ivan told huh?"
"And how is that supposed to concern me huh?" I replied.
"Don't play smart with me Amara , Ivan is mine and you would never have him unless I say so " she smirked.
"I never said I wanted him and if that's all you've got to say I've heard you so can you excuse me now" I replied
"Sure !" She replied and I could tell how angry she was. I feigned a smile to step on her ego and walked away.
I took an Uber right from Ivan's place to Madison's place. I was in so much pain and needed someone to talk to immediately.I rung the doorbell and she soon came out
"Amara!" She said worriedly, looking at me.
"Madi!" I said and hugged her.
"You don't look okay what's wrong?"
"Can we talk inside please " I said and she nodded.
Madi took me to her room and closed the door.
"Sorry I don't want my siblings interrupting us" she explained.
"It's okay "
"So tell me … why are you upset this morning, who troubled you?" She asked
"I lost my virginity!" I blurted
"Were you a virgin!" She laughed
"I'm being serious here Madi …please!"
"I'm sorry but why should that upset you!"
"I'm not upset because I lost my virginity , I just feel stupid for losing to it to that jerk!" I replied angrily
"And don't this jerk has a name "
"Ivan!"
"Ivan! Oh my God ! This is huge!" She exclaimed excitedly
"Why are you excited? " I asked , confused
"Shouldn't you be excited! Ivan is every girl's dream and you are so privileged … honestly I'm jealous of you now , I just wish I lost my virginity to him instead of that…" she stopped, her facial expression changed but I didn't take notice of it.
"I never knew you admired him that much… babes that guy is a player and I fell for his tricks. Ivan told me he likes me and I foolishly believed him … do you know how foolish I feel!"
"You shouldn't have believed him! He has never liked anyone before and the first lady he has ever dated is Chloe and he adores her" she said and my heart ached. I realized coming to Madi wasn't a good idea cause her words broke my heart. Ivan didn't like me as he claimed and I've allowed myself to be used by him. It wouldn't have hurt if I didn't like him but I was so in love with him .
"Chill girl just be happy you lost your virginity to a hunk like him"
"But…" I said
"Don't tell me you are in love with him " she laughed
"Of course not " I lied not wanting her to make fun of me
"That's good cause he will never like you … he has never liked anyone " she replied
"That sounds stupid Madi and you shouldn't be saying this to me!" I replied angrily
"Are you upset … I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you " she apologized
"It's okay but I thought you could make me feel better … I will take my leave now!" I stood up
"I'm really sorry Amara!" She said
"I will see you tomorrow at school " I replied and left.
