"Has Hannah left, Jess?"
"Yes. Your girlfriend has just left your apartment."
I took a deep breath, feeling relieved when I heard Jess's words, who were now sitting beside me while putting up a worried expression on me.
"It's good when he is gone."
"Serious, I really don't understand you, Richard."
"Which part of me does not understand?"
My best friend briefly glanced at the tray on the nightstand containing breakfast that I had not had time to touch since he brought him for me an hour ago before sighing softly.
"I know I have asked this many times to you, but are you sure you don't want to let your girlfriend see you at least for a while?"
"And let him see me in a mess like this?" I replied while pointing at my current appearance, which was far from the word 'perfect'. "How could I let him know my bad side further than yesterday I showed him?"
"I think it's far more appropriate if you call it your weak side instead of your bad side, Richard."
