Yuzhen's voice made Zoe nervous for a moment. He didn't want to face him—not in his real form. It wasn't fear or hatred; Zoe didn't want to reopen the feelings he had forced himself to numb.
And besides, things between them were confusing. In Zoe's eyes, Yuzhen was now Chen Ling's husband, his brother-in-law.
