Inside of the wooden box, there were two items, The first was a little wooden plaque that said, "Old Wang's Noodle Shop." The second was an ordinary jade slip that Di Tou had inscribed some words into. "Hey, hey! As congratulations for ascending to the Nascent Soul Stage, I'm afraid I don't have any special treasures on me. Anything good that I have is something you could simply buy at the Academy! It really isn't something worth giving as a gift. So I thought I'd treat you to a meal! Although, of course, I'm afraid I can't be there."
Below this first message, there was a little blurb of text that were basically instructions on how to arrive at Old Wang's noodle shop, and a few introductions explaining how payment worked and how he might have to wait an hour or so before the noodles were served… basically boiler plate and essential information so that Li Chang Yin wouldn't go and suddenly feel like he was being tricked or pranked.
