Chapter 1852 - An Offer

Listening to the tiger's response, Di Tou let out a sly smile. Right, cautious not protective… so in other words, the tiger was worried that if Di Tou went to the bird and 'lost' or in Di Tou's case, left it alone and didn't kill it, the tiger would be in danger afterwards.

Although this line of thought made communication quite a bit harder, it did prove one thing. This wolf was d*mn smart! It even knew how to think of consequences, and consequently, bargaining. Of course, compared to a human, it's method of approach was still a bit shallow.

If a human was worried about revealing this sort of information, they wouldn't go the extra mile to explain why. It was better to deny-deny-deny! After all, you couldn't be forced to 'tell' what you didn't know, right?

The tiger on the other hand had pretty much admitted it did know where the bird beast's nest was…. Just that it was unwilling to share that information.
