Hearing this, Di Tou realised another little oversight of his. Indeed, although the tiger and other beasts had developed intelligence, having grown up as ordinary beasts, and only developing intelligence afterwards, most of them still lived with their previous habits and preconceptions. Although it wasn't impossible for animals to 'trade' in nature, most of the times this 'trade' was done in a situation of having already taken most of the benefits, and not wanting to fight for what was left.
