At this point, the biggest question for Di Tou was if it was worth it, and if he wanted to keep trying, or to look for another angle. On one hand, Di Tou didn't want to sink into sunk cost fallacy, and waste more time, resources, energy, and quite literally his health in order to pursue what might be a lost cause. If he had wasted a High-Tier Spirit Stone, then so be it! It wasn't a reason for him to gravely injure himself and subject himself to suffering. After all, health was the most priceless thing of all, right?
