Elaine and I spent an hour together, which surprisingly didn't consist of us making love; we mainly just snuggled. However, we had important things to do, so after an hour, although reluctant, Elaine left my warm embrace and disappeared into the void before leaving our residence to continue her mission. As for me, I took a quick bath before leaving the residence, doing everything I could to further mock and humiliate the other six Immortal Hegemonies.
I headed toward a heavily populated restaurant and spoke publicly about my competition, stating how pathetic, weak, and cowardly they were when facing me; there were several people amongst the guests who could be considered my competition if I stretched the truth, but none of them could speak up. Well, they could, and a few even did, trying to defend what little pride they still had left, but they could only defend themselves for so long before realizing everything I said was true, which eventually forced them to cowardly running away, and that might've been the worse decision they made since now everyone in the restaurant only continued to further mock them.
After my fun in the restaurant, I bid my farewell while encouraging everyone to share what had occurred, causing everyone to eagerly nod in agreement while raising their cups, especially the women who looked ready to die for me.
As I walked down the streets of Bubble Dome City, having succeeded in ensuring the common people and independent cultivars looked down upon the six Immortal Hegemonies, I shifted my focus to the group that truly mattered: the Ancient and Divine Hegemonies.
Word would spread many times faster through Ancient and Divine Hegemonies' mouths compared to independent cultivars, given how many people they had access to, not to mention how much more trustworthy they were compared to random cultivators.
"Hmm, I've got a wonderful idea, Illumia." Said Elif with a faint smile as he eyed a tall restaurant in the distance while Illumia calmly followed.
"Does it include me killing someone?" Asked Illumia curiously as she glanced at Elif, who raised an eyebrow before shaking his head.
"I do not believe so…" Replied Elif softly in slight confusion as he glanced at Illumia, who sighed before lowering her head.
Shaking my head at Illumia's weird question, I approached one of the few luxury restaurants in the city before entering; the first floor was relatively empty; it mainly looked like it was a place to wait, receive guests, or just laze about, given the lack of tables.
"Bring the Manager." Said Elif lightly as he glanced at the waiter, who quickly nodded in compliance before turning around and leaving, entering a door in the back.
"Do you wish to kill someone, llumia?" Asked Elif curiously as he glanced at Illumia, who awkwardly coughed before slightly nodding.
"Even before I stepped down from my position as the General of the North, I hadn't seriously fought anyone in millions of years, and that attack I had performed when I first returned got me excited, Your Highness. Rather than kill someone, I care more about fighting someone powerful." Remarked Illumia softly as she looked at Elif before lowering her head and sighing.
"Well, I suppose you weren't called the Battle Maniac General for nothing… I always assumed you'd be one of those battle junkies, similar to Goliath and Echo." Stated Elif lightly as he glanced at Illumia, who flashed a dangerous smile before sighing once more.
Hearing the door open, I glanced to my left, where I saw a tall Atlantean Man, who faintly smiled while approaching us.
"Ah, Prince Elif. I'm sorry, but this restaurant doesn't welcome you." Stated the manager apologetically as he lightly bowed to Elif, who raised an eyebrow with an amused expression.
"Ho, is that so?" "Yes, Prince Elif, I would suggest leaving so as not to waste your precious time." Stated Elif and the Manager, respectively, as the former summoned a sack from this dimension ring while the latter nodded.
Holding a sack of over a hundred high God spirit stones, I tossed them to the man, who gave a brief look inside, causing his pupils to dilate, before he floated them back to me.
"I'm sorry, Prince Elif, but no amount of money will change my decision." Stated the man softly as he smiled at Elif, who grabbed the sack and stored it inside his dimension ring before nodding.
"Hmm, I see. If monetary value doesn't move you, what about your life?" Said Elif with a faint smile as he glanced at the manager, who furrowed his brows while Elif gestured to Illumia.
"Illumia, kill him." Added Elif calmly as he shifted his gaze to Illumia, who nodded while summoning a blood-red axe from her dimension ring before walking forward.
"P-Prince Elif, w-what is the meaning of this!? Y-You can't just kill someone because you can't get your way!" Exclaimed the manager fearfully as he slowly backed away while Illumia continued to advance, uncaring of his words.
"A low-breed mongrel has no right to tell what I can or can't do… I'm a Prince; I can do as I please." Said Elif with an annoyed expression as he glanced at the manager in disgust, while the waiter from before remained silent and inconspicuous.
"P-Perhaps w-we could come to some arrangement, P-Prince Elif! I-I'm only forced t-to refuse you o-on behalf of the Ocean Clan's o-orders; I-I have no say in the matter!" Stated the manager desperately as he backed into a wall and stared at Elif while constantly glancing at the approaching Illumia.
"Even more reasons to kill you." Said Elif calmly while gazing at the manager, who opened his mouth to speak, only for a blood-red axe to decapitate him.
"Feel better now, Illumia?" Asked Elif curiously as he glanced at the headless corpse before looking at Illumia, who stored her axe inside her dimension ring before shaking her head.
"I want to fight someone strong, not kill some weak Celestial, Your Highness." Replied Illumia blandly as she looked at Elif, who lightly nodded before shifting his focus to the terrified waiter.
"I'm buying this restaurant out for the next three days; you don't have a problem, do you?" Asked Elif curiously while tossing the waiter the sack of high god spirit stones, causing him to nervously nod.
"N-N-No p-problem, P-Prince Elif." Stated the waiter weakly as he kept his head lowered while remaining respectful lest he end up like his manager.
"Good. Now, prepare a large feast. I will be hosting a small banquet." Said Elif lightly as he glanced at the waiter before turning around, leaving the restaurant, and heading to his residence.
Once I returned to my residence, I sat down on the back porch and summoned my three servants, prompting them to arrive quickly.
"Yes, your Highness?" Asked Idonea softly as she, Marley, and Ember stood in front of Elif, who calmly snacked on lightning cherries.
"I'll be hosting a banquet at Ocean Galore in three days. I need you three to visit every Heir to an Ancient or Divine Hegemony and invite them." Stated Elif lightly as he glanced between the three servants, who all nodded.
"Your Highness, isn't a two-day notice a bit late?" Asked Ember curiously as she looked at Elif, who nodded before tossing a lightning cherry to her.
"Yes, so don't pressure them much, I don't expect everyone to attend; however, don't hesitate to incentivize them if need be. I'm sure a picture of me will tempt many to agree." Replied Elif with a nod while glancing between Ember, Marley, and Idonea, causing them to nod.
"Don't worry, your Highness, we've got far more than pictures of you." Said Ember with a faint smile, her words causing Elif to blankly look at her while Marley and Idonea eyed her in annoyance.
Pretending I didn't hear Ember, I shooed them off, prompting them to bow slightly before swiftly leaving the residence with Marley and Idonea giving Ember a stern lecture. Of course, I knew about their crystal balls with videos and pictures of me, but it was sort of a topic both sides agreed not to speak about, considering they shouldn't have those in the first place.
"Hmm, when I think about it, Elaine and I are very similar to Mother and Father… Elaine is doing the dirty work while I'm busy dealing with the political side." Remarked Elif with an amused smirk as he leaned back and stared into the sky while Illumia nodded in agreement before floating into the sky.
Anyway, now that I had nothing going on for the next few days, I decided to head to the Nether realm dimensional rift, where I could practice my techniques to help pass the time.
Phasing through the bubble, I flew through the ocean, arriving at the endless sea of monsters escaping the dimensional rift, though I faintly smiled when I sensed multiple monsters with strength comparable to a Saint Emperor cultivation base.
They were still vastly weaker than me, but it meant the appearance of a Divine wasn't long from now, which is what I want. Still, as of right now, the monsters were only good for training, and that's all I did, practicing my techniques and further improving upon them.
