[Unknown POV]
The universe, Time, Space, Matter all puts constraint on biological species. Traversing the universe can be very difficult and tedious.
This story will start and end with the same Protagonist. I'm just here to watch from the dawn of the universe to the point where entropy destroys everything.
Now who am I? God? An Alien? The universe itself? None of the above...
let's forget that I exist.
This tale is about a singular Existence stuck under the ice of an unknown lake on a unknown rock floating through space.
[K*** POV]
It's just me, it's always been me. I felt so small inside this lake for such a long time. Dying, coming back then repeating. I can never find true peace in this place. I was born here randomly I don't know how long ago.
I've evolved with each reincarnation inside of this lake. I went from something comparable to a placebo to something larger and larger. My intelligence and know how also increased with each reincarnation inside of this place.
What am I? I've tried communicating but no one wants to hear me speak.
(Unknown time later)
I've reached the point where nothing in this lake is a threat to me. I'm the Apex of this place and finally I can finally leave from this lake.
[Pov end]
"Using his large tentacle body almost spanning a football field he cracks the ice above the lake."
Using his tentacles to drag himself onto land he breathes in the mist and immediately passes out.
(Unknown time later)
Gasps... I'm awake, I can already feel a change in my form... It seems all of my body parts as merged into a more efficient form.
Before I was more of a ball of arms and legs with a mouth.
Now I seem to be a pale extremely smaller and stronger form... I've gained the ability to turn into the gas around me and technically fly although I'm limited to a few feet above my current height. I seem to be able to see my surroundings and hear every noise that is being made. This is new to me.
THE LAKE where is it, just a crater is left after all this time. The life that existed in this lake was abundant with life before and now it's gone. I felt like a connection was severed.

This liquid what is it... I feel so angry.
(Morning)
This was the first time I've ever seen this light in the sky, it's so bright that it hurts...
I've been walking for ages and haven't felt tired nor the urge to eat. This green mist filled place seems to be dangerous when I breathe it in... But for some reason I feel a sort of control over it.
Actually, everything I touched in these mountainous areas filled with green mist I've had a somewhat control over. I need to test this over the following days...
(Day 1) First I pointed one of my arms at the thing I wanted to control. Didn't work and gave me extreme backlash... Mainly a headache.
(Day 3) I moved over to using my brain to concentrate on the target I wanted to change or use, I somewhat moved the mist Vertically and horizontally.
(Day 10) The mist is mostly under my control; I can freely move the gas and even somewhat change its components although this gives me more of a headache... I will get this... All I have is time.
(Day 100) It seems after days of use my head has become more efficient. I can now multitask and think 10x as fast. The mist is 100% under my control now. I can use it to move my entire body. it looks like I'm floating through the air when I use it. I tried flying as high as I can, and I've reached a point where I COULD NOT breathe and felt my body was dying.
(Day 1000) The mist, the surrounding landscape can be manipulated. I feel the urge to control everything.
(Day 10000) I've evolved a few times since the start of this journey, I'm actually feeling Powerful. I've learned that my body has completely absorbed the core of this planet and I've been the substitute for it. I can feel any sudden changes to anything in my direct area.
