Bzzzt bzzzt.. The air is breathable, Comms are offline, Ship is in need of repair.
[Lonik] Captain? What is this mist it feels alive.
I feel it Lonik, but have you been able to contact the other members of the crew. There was a number for 3 ships with 200 members combined.
[Lonik] I cannot contact anyone, but the beacon on each ship seems to be pinging all over the planet. Should we wake up the remaining 65 members from cryo?
Wake up the integral crew and leave all settlers until the situation is handled.
(1 Day later)
Bzzzt.. The planet has been previously scanned before entry, but a lot of the scans could not penetrate the outer layer of the planet.
[Lonik] I've stepped outside, and it seems we are emerged in a large green fog ranging close to 10 kilometers wide. What do we do?
Get together 10 of our military personal for local exploration in pairs, look for signs of life or any other abnormal signs of civilization.
(K*** POV)
Something has entered my home after all of these years, Unlike the usual rocks it seems a little more complex. I can see it from here...

K** Jumps into the air and shoots a large amount of mist from his hands as the mist circles the planet at breakneck speeds. Suddenly disappearing into the mist to watch from the shadows.
As K** is doing his thing, The new *settlers* have other things in mind.

Lonik, tell me more about this mission, As the captain of this mission I deserve to know.
[Lonik] Sorry captain I cannot tell you anything about what we are trying to gather. All we are here to do is gather the resource and leave. We are unsure if there is life here or not.

I'm actually wondering myself; I've seen many planets in my 200 years, this one just seems off.

Start the drill up and do not mess up this time!
