Archer watched as the park ranger, Scarlet, became flustered. ''You're right, they've robbed several families, we've tried to put them away, but we could never get anyone to testify against the gang.''
''See? Now they're gone, and no one will miss the fools?''
The elderly woman chuckled, striding toward the shack with a glance over her shoulder. ''Once things calm down, come find me. Ben will be going home soon.''
''I'll see you later, Red,'' he waved.
Moments later, Cece and Belle dragged him back toward the lake as Sasha questioned. ''Are you planning to claim Stoneheart, babe?''
''No? She's scared of me and trying to be friendly so I don't hurt her,'' he revealed.
When the trio heard this, their eyes widened in shock as Cece glanced up at him. ''Why would she be, though?''
