Kaneki was surprised with the sudden offer, he couldn't help but ask whether or not if it's okay for him to accept.
But the Bathhouse owner insisted.
Bathhouse owner: it's alright, consider it a thanks for saving me and my family when we were getting robbed last year. Well then go enjoy your bath.
The Bathhouse owner then left to do some other things.

Even though he was quite far from the Onsen, Kaneki could feel the heat from it and his worries immediately went away.

After they did the same things Kaneki did prior, they joined him in the bath as well.
Keita: Woah! The water is so hot!
Itsuki: Of course it is, we're in an onsen right now.
???: you seem very relaxed Swartz-san.
Swartz: Well it is my first time in one of these things, and the water is helping me with the pain right now.
Kaneki: Sorry about that, although I'm surprised Swartz, didn't you stayed in my Grandparents hotel before coming to Shimotsuki?
Swartz: I did, but Onsen's in your Grandparents Hotel is too small for my own comfort, no offense.

The some of the guys in Kaneki's class stared at him very carefully, and this caught Kaneki's attention.

Kaneki: The memories that was given to me this time were more detailed, so basically if a Demon Knight like me gives a huge amounts of blood to another person they can turn into a Demon Knight but only if the Demon Knight giving it allows it.

Kaneki: the other condition actually varies, in my Senpai's case the will to protect me even if it kills her turned her.

Kaneki: Aside from my father, no I haven't. I really disliked other boys for the longest time, so even in field trips where I would stay in a hotel overnight I would wait until everyone is done before taking a bath.

???: you probably take baths with girls a lot.
Kaneki: Yup, mostly my childhood friends and my current friends.

All of the boys were looking at Kaneki in shock.

Kaneki was didn't understand how could the boys be envious of him over a bath.

Most of the boys present no longer felt any jealousy towards him, but more concern.

After getting out of the water Kaneki went to get some milk for all of the boys and himself.
He then entered the changing room with all the bottles of milk when he noticed something.

Kaneki: That's a lot of steam.
The room was completely covered in a thick cloud of steam.
Kaneki: Oh well I'll just blow it all away.

As he spread his wings, intending to use them to remove the steam.
???: Hey Kane-kun.
Two voices called out to him.
Kaneki: Huh?
He turned around and saw two young girls standing behind him.
