It was only the target of the Quirk that would remain awake, and they would not be conscious of the fact that Reina would be travelling through their memories in such a way.
They would not be aware of it, but it would already be strange enough for her to make contact with them or grab onto them before suddenly passing out on the spot.
Once she entered a dreaming state, the state of her body would be left behind, so she would be completely defenceless and vulnerable to anything around her, especially if she was not seated or lying down when she made contact with her target.
The time that could be spent within those memories would be limited to how developed her Quirk was, as she would eventually feel the mental strain that came with using it.
Reina much preferred to keep to herself, and she liked making things more than anything.
Perhaps if she thought differently and liked the Quirk she possessed, then there were possibilities of her working for the government or some other big agency that would take an interest in her Quirk.
Despite the drawbacks of the Quirk, it was quite an amazing power to possess, and it was quite scary to be around for those who had secrets that they did not want others to find out about.
Even Tiffany was curious about how such a Quirk worked and if it would work on her in the present situation.
She may have been curious, but that did not mean that she was willing to take the risk to test it out.
There were far too many secrets she possessed, so making contact with Reina was just too dangerous.
There was a theory of what could happen, or several ideas of what could happen if they ever did make contact under the present conditions.
The first theory was that the body Tiffany was in was not her true body, so Reina would be unable to go through her memories.
The second theory was that the Quirk was more related to the mind or soul of a person, so such things did not matter too much, resulting in Reina being able to enter those memories even when making contact with her when she inhabited one of her puppet bodies.
The third theory was that the Quirk would not work on Tiffany, but it would cause some form of conflict upon activation.
If such a conflict happened from attempting to enter her memories in such a way when she was not there with her true body and in the body of one of her puppets, then it was possible that it could cause her to be ejected from that body and return to her original body.
The process would likely result in her being exorcised from the puppet body due to the spiritual or mental conflict between her inhabiting or possessing the puppet body and Reina entering the memories at the same time.
Another fourth possibility was likely to be far more dangerous for either Tiffany or Reina, as there could be some form of mental or spiritual backlash from their two minds connecting in such a way when their true bodies were so far away from each other.
The puppet body would be in contact with Reina, but the true body of Tiffany would be an extremely far distance away from there.
If there was a process of a connection forming between the two of them to achieve what was needed for Reina to enter into that space to look through the memories of Tiffany, then it was possible that it would be more difficult to make it back to her body.
The same could happen in reverse if Tiffany were unable to find her way back to her true body once influenced by the Quirk of Reina.
It could result in either of them passing out upon making contact with each other, and it was likely that either or both of them might not even wake up, as if they had lost their soul or become brain-dead.
Such possibilities were both extremely exciting and scary at the same time for Tiffany.
She was deeply intrigued by the potential that Reina possessed, but she would not get too close and take any risks.
Maintaining a basic relationship and building upon that slowly suited both of them much better, especially with them both possessing more withdrawn personalities that were not too sociable and did not get too involved with more physical interactions.
Among the broken tools, Tiffany continued to look through them before taking her chosen one apart, and she began to reassemble it once again after identifying the problem.
After choosing from the spare parts and replacing what had been damaged, it was reassembled and was being tested in front of her.
She turned to Reina, who had already completed several different types. "Man... those other classes sure do pile a lot of jobs onto us, huh?"
Reina looked over and smirked. "They sure do. It does not help that there are so few of us, and not many of us have that much practical experience and skill in this area. Many have already dropped out..."
