Chapter 135 - What killed him?

At the small dungeon, Garry shook the rusted gate violently, with his hands clenched tightly on the iron bars.

"Mister, you better stay quiet unless you crave to be punished." The warden of the dungeon threatened.

The warden, a no-nonsense man, with a frail and skinny physique, his dull looking red eyes portrayed his lineage as an average vampire.

Garry poke his head between two bars as he said, "At least help me send a letter to the former lord of Branchwood, Kegan."

"And why would I run an errand for a criminal like yourself?" The warden spat out in disgust as he turned away to leave.

Garry hurriedly said, "I will pay you generously." and the man laughed heartily.

"Trying to make a deal while imprisoned." The warden shook his head unbelieving at the man's audacity.

"Once you deliver my message, I will reveal to you where I hide twenty-five gold coins." He pushed himself forward. "And you can have it all."

"What makes you so certain--"
