Chapter 26 - The Fire Pavilion

Boom!

A deep rumble echoed through the training ground as Lin Feng's battle intent and sword intent burst forth like crashing waves. His entire body shimmered with golden light, his aura fierce yet refined.

"That's enough," his master said, his tone calm but approving. "If you can channel your battle intent into your dantian, your strength will double. But control is key — lose focus, and it'll destroy you from the inside."

Lin Feng exhaled slowly, the energy dispersing around him.

"Haha, thank you, Master. You're really amazing." He grinned, wiping the sweat from his brow.

The old man gave a faint smile. "You can go now. I'll be leaving the sect for a while."

"Oh? Where to?" Lin Feng asked.

"Don't worry about it."

Lin Feng nodded. "I'll be leaving the sect myself — in one month's time."

"I'll be back before then," his master replied, turning away.

"Alright," Lin Feng said quietly.

---

"Boss! You're back!" Fatty shouted as he burst into the courtyard, his round face beaming. "I heard you crushed their balls in the secret realm!"

Lin Feng chuckled. "Haha, I really did crush their balls."

"Boss, I've reached the Second Grade Xiantian Realm! Not bad, right? My talent's awesome!" Fatty bragged, patting his belly. "Oh — did you give that guy the herbs?"

"I did," Lin Feng replied. "Fatty, we'll be leaving the sect in one month."

"Leaving? Where to?"

"The Fire Pavilion."

Fatty's eyes widened. "The Fire Pavilion? I heard that place is filled with beautiful women!"

Lin Feng smirked. "Go cultivate. We leave in a month."

---

That night, Lin Feng sat cross-legged, his focus razor sharp.

"Let me try channeling my battle intent into my dantian," he muttered.

He guided his battle intent inward — but—

Boom!

A violent explosion of energy shook his body. Pain tore through him.

"Shit! I almost destroyed my dantian!"

He gritted his teeth and tried again.

Boom!

"Again!"

Boom!

"Damn it!"

Over and over, his body trembled under the strain — a hundred attempts, each one more precise than the last.

Finally—

Boom!

A deep hum resonated within him as his battle intent successfully merged with his dantian. The surge of power was overwhelming.

"Haha! I did it!" Lin Feng laughed, feeling the transformation within him. "My battle intent's twice as strong!"

His aura erupted violently — Boom! Boom! — tearing apart the courtyard tiles and blasting dust into the air. The oppressive force radiating from his body made the air heavy.

"I can suppress a Ninth Grade Xiantian expert with just my aura," he murmured. "And with this strength… I can fight a Second Grade Heaven Realm expert." His lips curved into a grin. "Time to visit her — at the Fire Pavilion."

---

"Boss, here's the portal that leads straight to the Fire Pavilion," Fatty said, holding up a shimmering formation plate. "Five hundred thousand purple crystals per person."

Lin Feng tossed him a spatial ring. "Take it."

The portal activated with a low hum — and the two stepped through.

---

Moments later, they appeared before towering crimson gates. The Fire Pavilion loomed before them, its vast courtyards bathed in warm light. Disciples moved gracefully in red and gold robes, their auras strong, their beauty radiant.

"Boss, we're here," Fatty whispered, awe in his eyes. "They say the Fire Pavilion's full of stunning women."

Lin Feng said nothing, his expression calm as he approached the gate.

"Who are you?" a guard asked sternly.

"Lin Feng of the Sword Sovereign Sect," he said, clasping his hands. "I'm here to see Yang Busi."

"Lin Fe—wait," the second guard stammered, eyes widening. "You're that Lin Feng? The one with the golden hair and the bounty on his head?"

Lin Feng gave a faint nod.

"You may enter," the guard said quickly.

---

Lin Feng and Fatty lifted into the air and flew over the outer court. Gasps erupted below.

"Who is that? Doesn't he know flying's forbidden here?"

"Wait… golden hair—that's Lin Feng!"

"The one with the legendary battle intent!"

"Is he insane? There's a bounty on him!"

Lin Feng ignored them, his voice carrying through the entire sect.

"Lin Feng of the Sword Sovereign Sect, here to see Yang Busi of the Fire Pavilion!"

His inner qi amplified his voice until it thundered across the courtyards.

"What does he want with the number one beauty of our sect?" someone whispered.

---

A cold voice cut through the air.

"Hmph. Don't you know flying is forbidden within the Fire Pavilion?"

A young man in white robes appeared, his aura sharp like a blade.

"Oh?" Lin Feng said casually. "I didn't know."

"Now that you do," the man said, his energy flaring. A wave of Heaven Realm pressure crashed outward.

Lin Feng frowned. "What's wrong with this guy? I don't even know him."

"Boss," Fatty muttered nervously, "why's he so angry? Did you offend him before?"

"No," Lin Feng said flatly. "Something feels off."

The man lunged, his fist exploding toward Lin Feng like a meteor.

"You bastard! You killed my junior brother in the secret realm! Die!"

Gasps erupted.

"He's attacking Lin Feng!"

"What's wrong with Senior Brother?!"

"Lin Feng didn't do anything!"

"Stop!" a sharp, feminine voice shouted from afar.

But it was too late.

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "So that's how it is."

He stepped forward and met the man's strike head-on.

Bang!

The clash shook the courtyard. The young man's right arm burst apart in a shower of blood, his body smashing into the ground and carving a crater.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" his scream tore through the silence.

"You bastard! You'll pay for this!" he howled.

---

A streak of white light descended from the skies — a beautiful woman in a white robe and veil. Even through her anger, her beauty radiated like moonlight.

"So sorry," Lin Feng said with a smirk. "I might've used too much strength."

Whispers filled the air.

"Senior Brother was defeated!"

"A Heaven Realm expert… defeated by a Xiantian cultivator?"

"Lin Feng's power has skyrocketed!"

The woman's eyes widened in disbelief. She had seen Lin Feng fight before, but this—this was on another level.

"He's grown far stronger than he was in the secret realm," she thought.

With a soft sigh, she turned to the fallen man. "Let's forget this matter. Take this pill and restore your arm."

She flicked her wrist, and a glowing pill floated into his hand.
