Chapter 128 - Anti-Flame Armor

I tossed off another slab of the enormous carapace inside the cave and took a seat.

I had arranged some like a chair, some like a bed, and there was a large pile of carapaces in front of me.

This was no longer the spider's ex-nest nor was it the house of a human being's soul fragment, it was now simply all carapace.

Everything was carapace.

I eat cake, it's carapace.

I eat carapace, it is carapace too.

Almost the entire population of the centipedes had been shaved off and their only remaining memento was the carapace in front of me.

I crossed my legs and sighed.

"There is a lot… definitely a lot but… I can't use it like this."

I needed to do something to make it into an actual armor. I thought of using the lava to bend it, but what would I carry it in? It wasn't a very viable solution.

If I wanted armor, I needed to use it well. The wind blade and my bare hands would work amazingly to twist and turn it, but that carapace would just snap. Maybe the threads…

"Oh…"
