Chapter 69 - [ YOU WOULDN'T DARE ]

I went straight to my bed room and thought of crying my sorrows out but on second thought, I decided to take my bath first. I striped myself out of the dress and let it pile at my feet, then took a good look at my slander body, allowing my mirror to give me a helping hand as I turned here and there.

"Everything looks good so why?" I asked myself out of frustration after turning my body and touching the parts that men loves the most. I begin to think of why every man that comes into my life leaves after getting what they want, breaking my heart into so many pieces that it becomes had to mend it.

"Am not crying over any man ever again in my life after today." Anger began to feel my heart, replacing the sadness that was stacked in there. I stepped out of the dress and went to the bathroom to freshen up, but it wasn't easy to stop myself from crying.

Standing under the shower, I opened it and allowed the water to fall on my weak body for a while, letting it take away all the tears on my face. "This is the last time." I mummer as I cried, and as if the water from the shower wasn't enough, I could taste my tears on my tongue. " You don't deserve my tears or my love." I screamed as I hit the wall with my palm, making sure every pain in me was sent to it till I felt okay.

After washing my body for a while, I stepped out of the washroom, dried myself with my towel and decided on getting something to eat. I wasn't going to cry again. Not for Enoch or any other man. I'll be strong and known. I convinced myself as much as I could while I searched for a dress to wear.

I stepped into my kitchen after putting on a dress and it looked as neat as I left it before we left for the sorphnaf family house, making me remember how Enoch cleaned my used utensils before we left for his family house. At that, the tears I thought I had control over, freed itself from my eyes and I had no option but to remember the lovely moment I had with Enoch.

"He's worse than I thought. I think his brother was right for calling him a beast." I cursed angrily. Losing my appetite I went back to the bedroom and tried to forced myself to sleep but sleep seemed not to be near.

"If anyone wants to break my heart again, they should rethink it, because they will be heart broken first before they get the chance to break mine." I said to myself, got up from the bed and walked to the living room, and upon getting there something flashed through my window as if someone was running away from there.

Without a doubt I knew it was one of Enoch's men, yet I went close to check and my doubt was confirmed. Angrily I opened my Bluetooth player and send the volume high, making sure whoever it was hears the music playing. Singing along loudly, I danced my sorrows off to the song; THANK YOU TO MY EX.

It wasn't time to thank him yet, and there was nothing for me to thank him for, but that was my only way to show him am ok without him, and I don't care if he doesn't get back with me.

After dancing for a while, I finally felt like getting something to eat and I did so to the fullest. "Am sleeping this day off and I'll be fine the next day." I told myself and went to the bedroom for a long sleep...

.... Writers POV....

Meanwhile, in Enoch's residence, silence had taken over the entire place, no one even dare to cough or sneeze. The maids and guard's were all scared to death by their kind boss who had now turned into a mad Mafia.

Earlier the day, Enoch had waking up to the sound of his phone's message tone and was in a hurry to read it, only to get himself even more angry than he was in the morning. He smashed his phone into the walls of his room in frustration and started pacing around angrily. "How can she be that happy." He screamed.

He rushed out of his room with the thought of going to confirm the text he just received, only to meet Efua still at his house, he wonder if she had left at all, but upon incurring, he got to know that the devil in his life had not left at all. This made him angry to the fullest.

He politely asked her to leave but Efua wasn't ready to move an inch out of his sight. "Don't think am leaving so you can go and bring that bich back here." She yelled at Enoch angrily.

"You dare call her a bich, than what are you?" Enoch asked, taking deadly steps towards Efua.

" You... You won't dare hurt me would you?" Scared to the bone she asked, taking unstady steps backwards till her body was blacked by the walls behind her.

" You know I can do more than just that. Come to think of it, I can't marry anyone but you right? Hmm." He smiked mischievously. " What if you are dead?" Enoch asked sarcastically then placed his body in front of Efua, trapping her in-between him and the walls as his dark eyes pierced through her soul.

"You wouldn't dare hurt any..." Before Efua could finish her statement, her trout was squeezed tightly by the man in front of her which she didn't know how to describe. To her it looked like Enoch was a total different person and was ready to kill her on the spot.

She struggled to break free from his grips but to no avail. She threw slaps and punches at Enoch but non of that sim to work for her. Tears dropped from her eyes as she felt her feet getting off the ground.

She was a young lady and had more to live for, she can't just die like this, not now. She cried and begged for Enoch to let go of her but it all fell on blocked ears. Thankfully a maid entered the living room and Efua thank her stars, but then she run out of the room as if someone was after her.

Seconds after the maid run out, some of Enoch's men and Efua's body guards rushed inside. "Anyone who crosses that sofa gets fired or killed by me." Enoch shouted immediately he heard them entered, without even taking a look at who it was, and all the guards could do was stand and watch in shock and frustration.

"Do you want to be the beast they say you are?" Out of nowhere, Gideon said as he pushed Enoch with all that he's got, forcing him to let go of Efua instantly, making her fall to the ground.

" You and I know that am a beast and they don't just say it, they know it." Enoch's voice was cold and his expression mean as he said angrily, glaring at Gideon as he spoke, as if he was going to give him a ponch on the face.

Efua knew what was best for her, and that was to get out of the house if she wanted to be alive. She grabbed her bag and out of the room she went with her guards running after her, forgetting they came in a car.

"You are all a bunch of useless guards. What if I died in there?" She said when she was finally out of Enoch's hours. Efua looked frightened but all she could do was vent her anger on her guards. "Get me out of here." She said angrily, stamping her feet to the ground like a child.

"Do you think killing her would solve your problems, or you just want to stay in the prison forever, and this time not as an officer but an inmate?" Gideon asked but Enoch didn't say a word but kept pacing in the living room, thinking if Efua was gone or still there, and soon he heard the sound of her car leaving his compound.

" You know, there are many ways you can use to get rid of that woman without killing her, and since I don't like her at all, am going to help you achieve that." Gideon said bostfully, but all Enoch did was stared at him annoyingly and walked upstairs to his room.

For days, Enoch stayed indoors and refused to go out or even talk to anyone from his family or work, Things went on the same way for days till one morning, he received a text message from one of his men and decided on going out of the house.
