Alex constantly grinded the various bosses in the Thunder Mountain. They had run into an issue however. It seemed that there weren't enough bosses for them to constantly kill in the map, and many large-scale gaming guilds had begun sending players to grind in this specific map.
One particular guild had been incredibly overbearing, and would constantly kill-steal bosses from random independent players grinding in the map. It was called Heaven's flame, and it had accumulated a horrid reputation, but it was a bonafide second-rate guild. It wasn't something that independent players dared to offend, and as such most of them left the map, and many third-rate guilds were forced to leave as well.
The only advantage Alex, and her party had was that they were very deep inside of Thunder Mountain, and nobody had seen them yet. As such they hadn't been touched, and had continuously grinded in the Thunder Mountain, and as it turns out the normal monsters have a chance to drop thunder stones as well, and although the drop rate is abysmal Alex, and her team carved a path of blood through the mountain constantly killing nonstop in order to obtain those 500,000 thunder stones.
When their team heard about the guild monopolising the Thunder Mountain, Alex was furious. She had to spend so much team grinding for thunder stones, and people were out there standing in her way.
There was only one way to deal with such a guild, to forcefully suppress it with an army much more powerful than theirs.
There were many ways that Alex could obtain an army, and she decided to go with the simplest way.
Utilising her shares in the various global corporations she had, she got them to gather a large army from their various guilds to suppress the Heaven's Flames guild. As global corporations that had decided on investing in Redemption Online, they naturally had established incredibly powerful guilds. Even if they weren't quite as strong as the peak powers in the industry, they still had quite some strength, and influence.
The army that multiple of these guilds had gathered would naturally be nothing simple. In fact when the leaders of the various legions that the corporations had dispatched found that the order was from the Wall Street King, they had been excited because very few people had ever met the mysterious Wall Street King, but their excitement was dampened when they were met by his lawyer that represented the Wall Street King.
When word got out that these guilds were going to destroy the Heaven's Flame army garrisoned in the Thunder Mountain many guilds were shocked. It was a mere second-rated guild how had they offended these superpowers? It was simply inconceivable.
The army of the superpowers had directly smashed through the Heaven's Flame army quickly scattering its ranks, and any allies that the guild once had had instantly betrayed them.
That was simply the influence of a superpower guild let alone so many guilds.
The superpowers quickly retreated after destroying the garrison at Thunder Mountain surprising the onlooking players who had thought that they were there to monopolise the map.
The players who had realised that that wasn't the case swiftly flooded into the map, and started to get slaughtered by the monsters. This was due to the fact that many of the monsters in the Thunder Mountain had the thunder attribute which caused their attacks to chain to other players which caused mass slaughter.
As it were, these players had yet to grow strong enough to beat these monsters because the mainstream level for players was still level 8, and even the experts were at level 10 at best, and would struggle to deal with the monsters. In fact the only reason that Alex's teammates were able to deal with these monsters was due to their superior combat standards. The weakest member of the team had the standards of a peak tier-2 expert.
Naturally as such they easily mowed down the monsters like grass.
From the superpower's battle it showed Alex how important it was to have a well-established, and powerful army, and the only way for her to establish an army herself was to seek aid from the Great Underground, and the Family Meeting was the perfect place to bring this up, and today was the day of the meeting.
It was time to show the world the power of the sleeping dragon known as the Great Underground.
