Chapter 178 - Chapter 177 Sky Betrays the Earth

"Umibozu wielding Uranus... the weapon of the sky, forged to shatter continents and bury kingdoms beneath the clouds. No wonder Gaia's breath grows weaker by the day."

He raised a hand slowly, as if gesturing toward the unraveling world itself.

"The sea is rising, not because of war or weather, but because the sky has betrayed the land. Umibōzu… is the owner of Uranus."

When Buggy uttered the name, the entire world erupted into chaos.

During the earlier broadcast, viewers had already heard Nico Robin speak of the world before the rise of the World Government. She mentioned the three Ancient Weapons' mythic powers etched into history. Each was said to possess the potential to destroy the world.

Now, with Pluton in Buggy's possession and Uranus revealed... only one remained.

What about Poseidon?

That question emerged unbidden in countless minds across the world.

What stunned the world even more was the reaction of the Five Elders themselves. Their expressions betrayed clear shock.

"So... Uranus was under our command all along?"

"Hah! That explains why we could never find it!"

"Even if Buggy controls Pluton, as long as Uranus is on our side, we need not fear any assault."

"Exactly. Uranus was created to counter Pluton."

"I only wonder where Poseidon is now."

While the Five Elders debated, Sengoku, standing at the edge of their circle, stepped forward and spoke.

"Before this battle began, I received a call from Vice Admiral Tsuru. She reported that every last warship stationed at Marineford, even the fishing vessels, was wiped out by a swarm of Sea Kings. If her instincts are right... Then Poseidon has also fallen into Buggy's hands."

"What?!"

All five turned simultaneously, glaring at Buggy.

He simply smiled, calm and unshaken, and gave a slight nod.

"That's right. Poseidon is under our protection as well," he said. "But I never expected Imu to be such a hidden monster. It seems even she has awakened that mythical Devil Fruit power. Judging from what we've seen, it's likely a spatial or temporal type fruit."

Buggy turned slightly, eyes glinting.

"Shanks, did the Celestial Dragon archives mention anything about space-time related Devil Fruits?"

Despite the tension, everyone couldn't help but respect Buggy's composure. The current battlefield favored the enemy. If the Five Elders managed to stall for even a little while longer, they could gang up and eliminate either him or Redfield.

Shanks shook his head grimly.

"No. All records related to space and time-type Devil Fruits were purged long ago," he said. "Even Redfield's Zoan fruit is listed as an ordinary bat-type. There's no mention of its mythical zoan classification."

"Tch," Buggy muttered, narrowing his eyes. "Your World Government really went out of its way to bury the truth. But even so... here we are."

He turned and gave the Elders a mocking smirk.

"Your last tricks won't save you."

"Tch! Don't be so full of yourself, Clown," growled Saint Mars, standing beside Sengoku. "You're the one surrounded here."

"No," Buggy replied, raising his index finger and shaking it with quiet finality. "You're the ones surrounded."

He raised both hands.

"Advent of World of Trees."

With a rumble, the earth shook. From all sides, massive trees erupted from the ground, encircling Saint Mars, Sengoku, Blackbeard, Momousagi, and Tsuru. In the heart of the blooming forest stood five towering wooden golems, silent and imposing.

A sudden dread swept through the enemy's ranks.

"Attack now!"

"Kill him before it's too late!"

"Seraphim, eliminate the wooden giants first!"

With a series of sharp movements, Seraphim Lion, Seraph Roger, and Seraph Rocks soared into the sky. Massive black wings unfurled from their backs, and flames ignited behind them like comets streaking toward heaven.

Then, the three of them roared in unison.

"Flame Dragon Imperial Blade: Giant Fire Dragon

In an instant, three colossal pillars of flame shot skyward, coalescing into roaring fire dragons a hundred meters long. They surged forward, teeth bared, wings blazing.

"King's move, huh?" Buggy mused aloud, unfazed. Then he smiled.

"I get it now. No wonder the Celestial Dragons were so terrified of the Lunarians. That race is fierce, proud, and built for battle. Compared to them, your pampered descendants are like barnyard pigs. They're not even worthy to polish their boots."

Buggy's eyes narrowed, and his voice darkened.

"But if you think these flames can burn my wooden golems, then you're no different than Blackbeard."

He stretched his arms wide.

"Let me show you the difference between us."

"God-Armament Steelwood Dragon!"

A sudden aura of blue light pulsed around Buggy's body. Three of the wooden dragons coiled around the golems slithered forth, glowing with haki and glimmering like tempered steel. Each one was seized by a golem and raised like a weapon of divine retribution.

Under the stunned eyes of all present, the main Wooden Golem seized one of the black-gold flaming wooden dragons and hurled it toward the lead fire dragon soaring above.

With a thunderous whoosh, the three wooden dragons ascended, cutting through the sky like divine serpents, intercepting the trio of blazing fire dragons head-on.

A deafening rumble echoed across the battlefield.

In the very next instant, the wooden dragons collided with their fiery counterparts. The flames roared, then shattered. The hundred-meter-long fire dragons, summoned by the Seraphim, were torn apart by the sheer force of the wooden constructs, their forms disintegrating in a shower of sparks.

Crackling energy snapped in the air. The three wooden dragons twisted gracefully above before coiling back down to the ground, merging once more with the massive golems as though they had never left.

"What?!"

"This can't be!"

"That's Armament Haki!"

The World Government side cried out in disbelief. They had never imagined the massive golems could move with such speed and grace, let alone shatter attacks of that scale.

"There's no choice. We go in now," Sengoku muttered grimly.

"Kill him!" barked Saint Mars, nodding with resolve. His serpentine body surged forward, tearing through a wave of electrically charged vines and trees with a single punch.

"Zeahaha! I'll tear him apart myself!" Blackbeard bellowed.

"Buddha Shock!"

"Golden Gong Slash!"

Realizing that the Fire Dragon technique had failed, the coalition of Saint Mars, Blackbeard, Sengoku, and Momousagi launched into the air simultaneously. Each of them aimed directly for Buggy, unleashing a furious assault from all directions.

As the battlefield exploded with movement, Redfield's sharp grin cut through the chaos. Watching the Seraphim circle above, he called out:

"Leave those three in the sky to me. Buggy, finish this quickly or these old bones won't last much longer."

Buggy chuckled without looking back. "Don't worry, it won't take that long."

"I'm going as well," Hancock said, turning to Buggy with a sultry smile. "I'll handle Momousagi."

Without another word, the Pirate Empress leapt from the towering Thousand-Armed Golem, her heels slicing the air as she launched downward like a comet.

Boom!

The shockwave from her descent rippled across the battlefield. With a gleam of haki, Hancock became a streak of pink light, intercepting the massive golden slash hurled by Momousagi.

"Mero Mero Perfume Femur!"

Boom!

The towering golden slash that had carved through a forest of colossal trees was obliterated beneath Hancock's single, heel-driven strike.

Without pause, she spun mid-air, channeling her momentum into a barrage of kicks aimed straight at Momousagi.

"Aromatic Emission - Orchid Rain!"

Swish. Swish. Swish.

Dozens of shimmering pink crescent blades, each over ten meters long, rained down from the sky like moonlit petals.

Momousagi narrowed her eyes, recognizing the deadly power behind the elegant attack. She skidded to a halt and shouted:

"Lightning Rabbit - Gale Bolt!"

Crack!

In a blink, pink rabbit ears sprouted from her head, and arcs of blue lightning coursed through her body. With a burst of speed, she evaded the rain of blades and vines, retreating several hundred meters in the blink of an eye.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

Each impact from Hancock's kicks carved through the terrain, leaving trails of devastation. The ground hit by the crescent slashes or entangling vines turned gray, petrified instantly.

Watching from a distance, Momousagi felt a chill crawl down her spine. If she hadn't dodged in time, she would have been caught and turned into stone.

So this was the power of the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock.

While the Empress clashed fiercely with Momousagi, Buggy made his move.

Despite the simultaneous attacks from Saint Mars, Sengoku, and Blackbeard, he remained utterly composed. Bathed in a soft blue aura, Buggy didn't flinch or lift a hand. He simply spoke, his voice calm and resolute:

"Buddha – One Thousand-Armed Cannon Punch"

A low, rumbling hum spread across the battlefield.

In the next instant, under the disbelieving gazes of Sengoku, Saint Mars, and Blackbeard, three colossal Wooden Golems took a single step backward. Their enormous right fists, now fully cloaked in black and gold Armament Haki, reeled back with practiced precision.

Then they struck.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

The air trembled. Each punch carved through the sky, compressing the atmosphere itself. With a force that seemed to defy nature, three massive shockwaves burst forth, each one over a hundred meters wide. The concentrated waves of destruction rocketed forward, colliding head-on with the attacks of Saint Mars, Sengoku, and Blackbeard.

"Why is this possible?!"

Saint Mars's serpent-like form coiled in alarm.

Sengoku's golden Buddha eyes widened.

Even Blackbeard's face twisted with disbelief.

The sight was unlike anything they had expected.

"Why can a Wooden Golem use martial arts?" Sengoku exclaimed.

"This is insane! That should not be possible!" Saint Mars bellowed, scales bristling.

"A golem using martial technique and Armament Haki?" Blackbeard growled. "That ain't just strange... that's terrifying!"

Around the world, viewers glued to their den den mushi screens could hardly believe what they were seeing. People from every corner of the sea—pirates, marines, civilians alike—stared in stunned silence.

Three enormous wooden constructs, beings with no blood or soul, had just unleashed martial-arts techniques with a mastery rivaling legendary fighters. And not just any technique, but one imbued with divine power and precise haki control.

It shattered every rule the world thought it knew.

Buggy didn't need to move. The Wooden Golems were fighting for him, and they were more than weapons.

They were true giant warrior which can utilize it's true potential.
