Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Sakura Blooming Under the Shadow of the Hokage

Author: Shinglyu

Synopsis

After a sudden cross-dimensional transfer, she found herself as Sakura Haruno from the Naruto world. Initially believing she'd follow the original story until the end, she was surprised when her own "OP power" awakened. But while other protagonists' powers helped them grow stronger, hers threatened to accidentally destroy the entire world.

Chapter 1: A Greeting from the Time Rift

"Sakura, time for breakfast!"

"Okay, Mom."

Hearing her mother's voice from outside the bedroom, Sakura Haruno got up from bed, rubbed her eyes, then began dressing and freshening up.

It had already been four years since her arrival in this world. From a confused newborn baby to now—a little girl with pink hair and emerald-green eyes—Sakura had long realized which world she had entered.

Naruto—the incredibly popular anime back in her past life. As an enthusiastic anime fan, she had followed it all the way to its ending, then continued watching Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Then one boring day, while rewatching some Marvel movies online, everything suddenly went black without any warning. When she woke again, she was already a newborn infant.

At first, Sakura was shocked and deeply upset. Although in her past life, her parents had died in an accident early on, she still had many close friends there. Vanishing like that probably made them heartbroken.

However, under the careful care of her new parents, Sakura gradually let go of her inner pain. Since things had already happened, regretting wouldn't change anything. Instead of clinging to the past, she might as well properly start anew in this new life.

Not long after she accepted her situation, during a casual shopping trip held in her parents' arms, an unexpected scene caught her eye—on a tall cliff wall stood clearly visible statues of four faces.

Only then did she finally realize she had probably entered the world of Naruto. And later, after learning her name in this life, she became even more certain.

Sakura Haruno—the female lead of the Naruto series, a kunoichi who inherited the legend of the Sannin. Trained by Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, she mastered Medical Ninjutsu. Her superhuman strength, passed down from Tsunade, earned praise even from Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, during The Fourth Great Ninja War. She was also the girl Naruto Uzumaki loved for his entire life—an affection she never fully returned, since eventually she married the boy she originally adored: Sasuke Uchiha.

Thinking about how Sakura's character lived in the original storyline, the girl couldn't help but feel a slight headache.

Early on in the series, their team leader Kakashi Hatake was powerful enough—but sadly far from being a great teacher. Most of the time he focused entirely on Sasuke Uchiha, barely training Naruto—the son of his late mentor, Minato Namikaze. Fortunately, Kakashi had a great personality—he would protect his comrades with his life whenever necessary.

Sakura Haruno didn't manage to find a master until much later. Unfortunately, as the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade Senju was constantly overwhelmed with work. To make matters worse, she was also infamous for being both a gambler and an alcoholic, which meant Sakura received very little actual instruction. Most of the time, she had to rely on self-study from books, only occasionally receiving guidance from Tsunade on crucial techniques.

Despite countless obstacles and without inheriting any secret family techniques or bloodline advantages, Sakura still managed to become one of the new Sannin through sheer hard work and determination.

Even though in her later stages Sakura possessed considerable strength—in fact, she was the strongest kunoichi among her peers—she had the misfortune of having two classmates who were both outrageously powerful protagonists. Compared with them, it was truly like comparing heaven and earth.

As for her future plans, Sakura really didn't know what to do. At the moment, the only path seemed to be following routine: attending the ninja academy, graduating, and then becoming Tsunade's apprentice. However, her body displayed surprisingly natural talent for chakra control. When she started school, she should focus in that direction and at least establish solid fundamentals, avoiding the mistake she made in the original story—getting overly obsessed with Sasuke and wasting too much time on it.

Just as Sakura reached for the doorknob to leave, the world around her suddenly shifted. She was no longer in her bedroom but had instead arrived in a strange space.

The space was pitch-black, filled with countless glowing spots of various colors. These lights formed something resembling galaxies—countless shining specks, and just as many galaxies. The entire space looked exactly like old photos of outer space from her previous life, and she hovered midair between the galaxies, her feet dangling freely.

"Where is this? My inner space?"

Somehow, the thought suddenly popped into Sakura's mind. As she puzzled over how she had ended up here, six glowing orbs abruptly appeared before her. After the light faded, six crystals remained, each shining brilliantly like perfect gems.

As soon as the gems appeared, a letter materialized in front of her eyes.

"Dear reincarnation candidate, greetings! Due to an operational error by our staff, you were accidentally transmigrated. We sincerely apologize for this. After punishing the responsible employee, we wanted to compensate you for the inconvenience caused, so we have specially prepared six Infinity Stones as a gift. These gems originate from the Marvel universe; we're sure you've heard of their power. Finally, we wish you happiness in your new life!

[Sincerely, Time Rift Time Manager]

[P.S.: The dangerous soul previously contained within the Soul Stone (Marvel Universe) has been completely removed—you can use it safely.]"

You've gotta be kidding me!

As the letter vanished into thin air, Sakura couldn't help but mutter under her breath. Unexpectedly, her transmigration had all been due to a mere clerical error. Fortunately, this Time Rift organization seemed pretty decent—it had taken responsibility and even provided compensation, directly gifting her six Infinity Stones. But somehow, the name "Time Rift" felt oddly familiar, like she'd heard it somewhere before.

Infinity Stones come from the Marvel Universe. After gathering all six Infinity Stones, Shanos snapped his fingers and wiped out half the universe's population in the Marvel movies. These are among the oldest and most powerful artifacts ever seen in the Marvel Universe.
