Nearing evening, in a comfy looking cabin somewhere deep in the rich oak wood forest just outside of Thorne town, Gabriel, Abigail and the other kids were sitting in the small dining room around a wooden rectangular table.
Not that it was small at all, it was big enough to fit a somewhat long table like this, it was just that Gabriel and Abigail's idea of small was still bigger than this.
This was the home of the sweet looking family they had met on the dirt road earlier, the house was made entirely of wood. It was expertly crafted as if the builder knew what he was doing, the designs were intricate enough to give the house a homey feel.
The mother whose name turned out to be Theresa and her two kids; Mel and Phellan, a girl and boy were currently setting up the table while the father, Ohen had stepped out a few minutes ago. The kids had offered to help Theresa and her kids but she refused and asked them to feel at home.
