Wendy exited from her office about to go to Zion's mum's party, she walked towards Isabella's office and before she got there Isabella came out
"We are ready to go" Isabella said
"Yes we are" they both walked towards the exit of the company
"The elevator is free, I ain't taking the stairs" Isabella said and they both walked into to the elevator and Wendy turned to Isabella and she looked at her suspiciously
"Are you sure It was Zion that invited you?" Wendy asked her
"Who do you think I am?, you think I'll go to a party without an invite, my ego won't let me, Remember I'm his friend's girlfriend" Isabella said
"Oh, I forget that you were Mrs George" Wendy said teasingly, Isabella chuckled and they both came out of the Elevator. Isabella's boyfriend was Seth George and he is a film director and producer.
"I thought Mrs Andrew invited you herself" Wendy said
"What did you get her?" Isabella asked
"Who?" Wendy asked
"Zion's mum"
"I got her a wrist watch" Wendy said and smiled
"That's nice. We are taking your car" Isabella said and they both entered Wendy's car
"Let me see the wrist watch, please" she chirped and Wendy rolled her eyes, Wendy took the box out of the bag and opened it, it contained a golden beautiful bracelet
"It's so beautiful, how much did you get it?" Isabella asked
"Expensive enough. What did you get her?" Wendy asked
"I didn't know what to get her so I got her a foot massager" Isabella said and Wendy opened her mouth as if she was surprise
"What?" Isabella said with a confused expression
"You thought of something nice once in your life" Wendy said, she laughed as she drove and Isabella frowned
"It's just a joke" Wendy said
"Not a funny one" Isabella said and laughed when Wendy didn't stop laughing.
Wendy pulled into the parking lot, and they both got out of the car. Seth came towards them
"Babe" he said and kissed Isabella, Wendy looked away and touched her ear as if feeling uncomfortable
"Wendy, how are you doing?" He looked towards Wendy and hugged her
"I'm fine, you look good" Wendy said
"I try, both of you are looking gorgeous, let's go in" they all went in. Seth was more gentle and polite, he's from Germany but he lost the accent long after he moved to America.
They got inside and she could see her parents among the people discussing with Zion's parents; they didn't inform her they were attending the party. Zion and Ivy walked towards the small crowd and their conversation was as if he was introducing her to his parents, Wendy frowned and dragged Isabella from Seth.
"Where are you taking me to?" Isabella asked
"To greet Zion's mum of course" Wendy said with a fake smile on, Isabella looked at Zion and she saw Ivy, she rolled her eyes as she understood what was happening.
"At least loosen your grip" Isabella said and Wendy let her go
"I'm sorry" Wendy said
"You are so hot tempered"
They both walked majestically towards the small crowd, Wendy smiled as she saw her parents
"Great, you didn't even tell me you were attending a party" Wendy said as she approached them
"It escaped our mind" her mum said and hugged her and Wendy also hugged her dad
"Oh my God, I've been expecting you" Zion's mum said
"Happy birthday Mrs Andrew" Wendy said and they both hugged, Wendy pulled away from the hug as she looked at Zion and back to Mrs Andrew, Zion tapped his foot on the ground slowly as if he felt uncomfortable and he soon walked away with Ivy
"This is a token from me" Wendy said as she extended her gift to Mrs Andrew. Mrs Andrew checked the gift and her face lit up
"This is so nice" she said and she looked up at Wendy
Isabella and Seth also greeted Mrs Andrew while Wendy was greeting Aaron's parents. Mrs Andrew adored Isabella and Seth's relationship, and she treated them like they were her own children. Wendy looked towards the door and she saw Aaron looking as hot as ever, it felt like everything around her stopped for a moment and it resumed when she saw that he came in with Aishat. She turned and tried not to trip, she walked into the house trying to look for the rest room, she can't remember the last time she came into Zion's parent's house. She was still angry and confused about the way she reacted when Aaron walked in, she was supposed to be hating him instead of admiring his looks, she was trying hard to think about the mean things he had to her as she looked for the restroom in the huge house but only his handsome face kept popping up. She gave up and now she was very angry at herself, the look on her face was unfriendly, she walked up the stairs and she looked around, there is no difference between the doors just like the ones at her house, she already knows that if it was her house the third door is her room.
She opened a door she felt she knew was the guest room or rest room only to find Ivy and Zion in the middle of a romance. Zion was shocked, he stood still like a statue. Wendy closed the door and smirked
"She's nothing, liar" she said to herself, she was extremely angry, she walked as if she wanted the floor to break on every step she took, she looked up and found Aaron standing in front of the door and she frowned, she tried to avoid him and she stretched her hand to the door knob but Aaron held her
"You look like you want to cry" he said as he looked into her eyes, not mockingly this time but ever so calmly
"Let go of my hand" Wendy said as she tried to get her hands free.
