TRICKY might it seem, but the way the three girls entered their island—no, islands—was familiar to Lily. It was the same way she and her grandfather had entered the place where the army was stationed when she was a child.
"We will be reaching the main island in a few minutes now," the green-haired girl said.
They were in a boat. And the boat seemed to have a mind of its own, as Lily did not see any of the girls rowing. It simply moved steadily toward a certain destination without any visible guidance or effort from any of them.
"What kind of island did you girls come from?" Lily asked out of curiosity.
"It is not good to be curious," the red-haired girl warned in a polite tone. "We are some ancient clan, and the rest of the world are not allowed to know about us."
"..." said Lily. That was about the same as saying something. And it sounded just like the Pei Family.
