Chapter 465 - Chapter 465: Demonology

The many hands of the beast began to emerge, slamming onto the ground, ripping off parts of the land, throwing them at Brunono to try and catch him off course. A smirk was on his face as he'd let the strings come down, a Spider's web to split each one off like it was mere dust, watching the hillsides slowly lower, stars forming on the dirt as the beast descended. Such flora would act as an extension, Orion's made to fire on all sides, but even that wasn't enough. A few more strings would hoist him up, dodging the celestial arrows, as he'd have the hand come down and grab the Beast's markings, throwing it back down on the ground, letting it cave in and crush the beast underneath its weight. A roar was made as the land splits apart, the head properly brought out, as it turns itself around to face whoever dug such a grave. "Odd. I expected you to be a bit thinner."

WHAM!!!

A Barrage of punches sent down after such a snide remark, carving Leon into the ground with each strike. The wounds were beginning to leak again, the stitching being somewhat damaged, as the Debt Collector tightened them up before letting the White Hand intervene and catch one of the Goetia's fists, pushing it away so that Leon can scale up and escape, running towards the beast's face. A star was being forged on its mouth, taking aim whilst the Orions drew their bows, readying to strike down Brunono once he got too close. In response, however, Leon lets his strings pull him up to the sky, creating and cascading more, as he'd watch the onslaught fire in waves of light, jaws of a rabid animal that wished to tear his flesh in twain. The strings he'd create would be layered, a shell upon a shell upon a shell. Such layers would be used to catch the stars, of course at the cost of such string being burnt, resulting in replacing the layer needed to survive. Once he'd catch the massive wave, he'd convert it, letting the strings tie around and into the celestial bodies, extracting its power, its heat, its might, and coursing it across his puppet. The strings began to expand as Stolas can see the ball weaved before him began to become its own celestial body. A switch in the gravity would force the Debt Collector to go upwards, letting the Goetia take the hit as it jumped up and extended its arms out, changing the constellations in the process.

Leon would smile as he'd see his plan was already found, letting the big ball of light burn brighter with each passing second. "Okay, the star's getting... really really big now. Is this what the humans call..." Zazel would question, but wouldn't be able to answer properly as he'd hide himself into the hole for protection at the massive explosion.

KA-BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

A heat wave that melted across the hillside into magma and cinders outside of the Shop, the building and anything deeper down to the planet's core only sustained by Stolas' sacrifice, amazing the Demon in how the world was able to even survive such an attack. Even with the aftermath blasting away the atmosphere, letting the UV light blast down in full force, as well as the scorched lands cratering lower and lower, it still survived.

A star's collapse. A Supernova. An event that would've usually killed Earth and everything within its inner ring, now treated as a potential Final Gambit for the insane.

To make matters worse, however, was the charge left on the strings, as Leon would launch them in a mass array, spikes like rain in order to skewer the child alive. Zazel would try to set up his sigils again, forcing them to take the blow instead, parrying and squeezing himself at the ground as he watched Leon descend. "So, how is it?" He'd ask.

"How the hell-" Zazel tried to retort, but Leon would cackle upon hearing such confusion.

"Have you not been taught at how this massive globe of ours expanded so much? It could even survive the annihilation of our sun if we tried to push our luck! Not to mention your summon took most of the hit. Sure it damaged our Biosphere a bit, but...-"

"Are you humans usually this crazy?? That could've killed EVERYONE!!"

"Yes, and yes. That's why I put a price on people. They are THAT! STRONG!" His strings would eject out, now glowing a white light, the star reinforcing the armor, slowly sinking into the puppet's body and letting its radiation seep out. He'd bind the strings around his body, stabbing it into his own system, letting its radiance and heat course through like a vaccine, his senses heightened, his body heating up, a small glow visible underneath his form. Zazel's jaw nearly dropped when he saw what was under the child-like exoskeleton. A grown man, forced to bend and contort his limbs down to a child's, a sharp triangle for a head, careful not to jut out and pierce through the skin. The Debt Collector comes down, as he'd aim for the strings, the White Hand being formed, Marionette being prepared, although now it, too, began to glow just as bright. "You know, I was expecting WAY more when I found out the truth..." He'd began, as he'd detach each string, prompting Zazel to prepare a counter. "All I'm seeing out from you is just markings and a summon or four. I was mad before because you managed to kill my personal highest payers. Now I'm even more so because they died to something less than EFFICIENT!! When I was told about an assassin, the least you could do is innovate it! If you're going to waste my time, then I might as well make sure that time you wasted is paid back in FULL!!!" The Hand began to ball itself up, as it descended, the strings wrapped around, tethering onto Leon's arm like it was an extension, a meteor coming down with the same force as that very supernova.

"PUPPET MAGIC!!! MARIONEEEEEEEETTE!!!!!!!!"

SHIKK!! SHIKK!!!

The last string snapped once it fired, the momentum accelerating, as the hand began to spiral. Zazel would create a sigil and take a deep breath, tossing it upwards and trying to catch it, letting it crack, as the Demon screamed and grunted whilst pushing back such a strike.
