After taking the medicine, Edward Anderson's gaze was fixed on Bella Scott's face. He couldn't help but touch her cheek with the back of his hand: "You're warm."
Bella swatted his hand away: "Of course, I'm warm. I'm not a ghost. It's common knowledge that when you have a cold, you shouldn't catch a chill. Do I have to teach you such basic stuff?"
She closed the window, blocking the cold wind and rain outside.
When she turned around, she saw Edward standing still, lost in thought, his eyes somewhat hazy.
She had never seen such a fragile side of Edward, who had always been invincible in her mind.
She thought that nothing in the world could defeat him, but she was wrong.
Deciding to help, she assisted him to bed and pulled up the covers for him: "Take a good rest after taking the medicine. Sufficient sleep will help resist the invasion of germs. When you wake up, you'll feel better."
Edward nodded and obediently closed his eyes.
