Lucas felt tipsy, but he wasn't that drunk. His steps were unsteady, but his thoughts were still relatively clear.
He looked at Flynn with a gentle smile, "I can't let a girl like you protect me from alcohol. I'll be fine, just need to sleep it off."
Seeing his tender smile, Flynn's eyes filled with tears, "In the end, it's still my fault. Let me take you to the hotel where I'm staying to sober you up since you're reeking of alcohol."
Lucas didn't respond. Flynn looked closely and saw that his eyes were half-closed as if he had fallen asleep.
Feeling both amused and annoyed, she struggled to help him into the car, heading to the hotel where she was staying.
At the hotel, she asked the hotel staff for assistance, and they brought the unconscious Lucas to her room.
As the staff left and she sat on the edge of the bed, her heart skipped a beat as she looked at the sleeping Lucas.
