Randy said that Edward Anderson had a bad stomach, due to excessive drinking.
Having suffered from anorexia, Bella knew what it was like to have a bad stomach, when everything tasted awful. Maybe she should go check on Edward?
Without hesitation, she headed towards Edward's office.
Randy was trying to persuade Edward to eat, while Edward was lying on the couch with a troubled stomach.
He thought of Bella, who had suffered from a stomach ailment, and realized her pain must have been many times worse than his.
Coincidentally, just as he thought of Bella, she appeared in front of him.
Randy, as if seeing a savior, handed the medicine to Bella: "Mr. Anderson listens to Miss Scott, and his stomach feels worse if he doesn't eat. Miss Scott, please help persuade Mr. Anderson."
Bella didn't bother with small talk; she just handed the bowl directly to Edward.
