Bella Scott stared blankly at Edward Anderson for a while before getting up and leaving the office.
Seeing her come out, Randy Hill hurriedly approached her.
"He is asleep, so be quiet when you go into the office. And watch out for his stomach problems in the future, don't let him drink strong alcohol again." Bella said, then left.
Randy Hill watched her leave, his lips curving into a smile.
Bella still cared about Edward's health, and perhaps if Edward tried harder, Bella would finally let go of her prejudice against him.
Edward and Bella knew each other all too well, and they were intertwined too deeply; neither one could completely remove the other from their lives.
And that was precisely Edward's advantage.
Maybe all Edward lacked was a small opportunity.
The next day, Bella submitted her work plan to Edward for review. After careful reading, Edward approvingly said: "You are the expert in this field, and I trust you."
