At this moment, Bella Scott feels like she's not a competent girlfriend.
If she thinks about it carefully, Edward Anderson always caters to her taste. Whatever she eats, he eats too, as if it's a given fact.
"What kind of dishes do you like?" Bella shamelessly asks.
"I like whatever you like." Edward is busy getting Bella some food and doesn't have time to think about such a boring question.
Bella is at a loss for words. Doesn't he find it dull, living this way?
"Aren't you hungry? Eat while it's hot. Don't overthink it. I'm not lying; I really like the dishes you eat. I'm not particularly picky about food." Edward sees through Bella's little thoughts.
"There must be dishes you particularly like, right? Tell me, I bet I'll also like what you like." Bella encouragingly looks at Edward.
Edward thinks carefully but still arrives at the same conclusion: all he can think of is what Bella loves to eat.
"I can't think of any." He answers truthfully.
