Just as he was about to go back to find his uncle, Zuo Zhixiao and Tang Fei also stood up from their seats.
Zuo Zhixiao picked up his coat and backpack, while Tang Fei grabbed Nian Nian's chubby little hand. "The family of three" paid the bill and started walking towards the door.
Nian Nian, held by Tang Fei, hurried with small steps to barely keep up.
Tang Fei, pulling him along, asked Zuo Zhixiao, "Did you tell Elder Chief that we're not going back for dinner?"
Zuo Zhixiao replied, "I did, I told Auntie Cui not to prepare our share."
Saying that, Zuo Zhixiao glanced at the time on his wristwatch and said, "We still have time. Let's take Sui Sui to nearby Central Park for a bit. I heard there's a small zoo there, we could take a look."
Nian Nian was about to say something, but upon hearing 'zoo', he swallowed his words.
Tang Fei had no objections to this suggestion either.
"The family of three" then headed toward the direction of the park across the street.
