(Third Person POV)
Dimaria scowled, "What is this...?" She said as she readied another stance, "This magic..."
Jason smiled, "Oh, you're quite sturdy." He said, "That's something, alright."
"Tch!" Dimaria said, "That was nothing! I'll cut you down right here right now!"
Suddenly, Kagura appeared in front of her, swinging her blade with such speed that even Dimaria was barely able to react in time.
"You're focusing on the wrong person." Kagura said as she was able to cut off a bit of Dimaria's hair, "I am your opponent."
Dimaria, who was able to avoid the blade by a hair's breadth, jumped away with shock on her face.
"W-What..." She said, "My magic didn't activate?"
Kagura released a wave of gravity that pushed Dimaria to her knees, causing the Shield to sweat in pure shock.
"It appears your power is strong, Jason." Kagura said as she readied a stance, "This spell is giving me an advantage...."
Dimaria looked up at Kagura who was preparing another attack, "Y-You dare...!?"
Jason tilted his head, "I wouldn't get too confident, Kagura." He said, "She's strong, alright. While my spell is giving us an advantage to counter her broken time-stopping, she can definitely overpower your gravity with her pure magic power..."
As he said this, Dimaria released a wave of magic power as she disappeared.
Kagura then felt a strange sensation in that split-second that she disappeared and was able to jump away from Dimaria's sword swing yet again.
"I got you!" Kagura announced as she struck back with a trust of her blade
Dimaria was able to deflect her blade with her own as she was reeled back by the forced.
"Tch!" She growled, "You can counter my Age Seal...So what?! My swordsmanship should be more than enough to kill you, woman!!"
Dimaria lunged at Kagura with such speed that Kagura was taken aback, not because it was great, but because she was able to be seen.
The War Princess swung her sword multiple times, attempting to cut Kagura but the Mermaid Heel mage was able to block and deflect all of the attacks with not much trouble.
"Damn you!" Dimaria said as she pivoted while Kagura swung back
Kagura swung her blade swiftly and precisely, attempting to cut the Shield up but Dimaria was also able to dodge, block, and deflect. Despite Dimaria not being able to use Age Seal properly, she did in fact show no problem in keeping up with Kagura's swordsmanship as the two of them clashed in quite equal terms.
"You're good...." Kagura said as she took a step back and readied a stance, "As good as Erza or probably better.....But....."
Dimaria lunged and swung her sword down as Kagura side-stepped and hit the Shield with the bottom of her blade's handle, pushing her back.
"Gah!" Dimaria exclaimed in pain
"I have devoted myself to the blade far longer than she has..." Kagura said seriously, "While she mastered swordsmanship, she focused her skills on other weapons as well, despite not using them much. I can confidently say that I have more sword skill than her....."
Dimaria reeled back as she scowled, "Does it look like I care?" She said as she wiped her mouth, "This will go nowhere if I don't pick the pace up!"
She disappeared from sight and instantly appeared next to Kagura landing her blade against hers as Kagura had immediately blocked the strike.
"Tch!" Kagura exclaimed
Jason was merely watching this with his arms crossed as if he was waiting for a specific moment in the fight. He wasn't making a move nor did he look anxious to join in on the fight. He was merely staring at this, in deep thought. Despite his words of taking Dimaria's power to himself, he showed no signs of going through.
"Hm..." He said, "I'm only here, keeping the spell active in order to prevent her from using Age Seal....but...she hasn't activated her other magic.....Take Over....."
As he said this, Dimaria clashed violently with Kagura, both of them swinging their blades viciously and precisely at each other. This time, they were barely able to land hits, causing small but noticeable cuts on their bodies. It was happening so fast that a normal person would not be able to tell what was happening, but Jason was more than capable of seeing this.
The two of them were using their pure swordsmanship, going at it in full force. Kagura was showing no signs of using her Gravity Magic. It was as if she didn't see the point since Dimaria was capable of forcing herself out of the restraint caused. Jason thought that the two of them made a silent agreement as warriors and decided to just use their swords.
"Hm....." Jason said, "She'll need more pressure, I assume...."
Jason snapped his fingers and summoned a gun out of thin air. He then took aim and fired off a round at Dimaria's head.
Almost instantly, Dimaria kicked Kagura away and deflected the bullet as she glared at Jason.
"You son of a bitch!!" She yelled
Kagura looked surprised by this, "J-Jason!" She exclaimed, "You shot at her?!"
Jason nodded, "Never said this was going to be a duel." He said, "You know we don't have time, Kagura. The main fleets will appear any second now and I can't keep this spell activated that much. If The Nemesis doesn't teleport down to the ground, it'll be bad....."
As Jason said this, the entire air shook violenlty, rippling the space that they were on itself.
Dimaria looked up, "What's this feeling?" She said
Jason raised an eyebrow, "Spoke too soon, it's happening..." He said, "The sequence must've finished faster than expected....The Nemesis is going to the ground....."
Kagura nodded, "Okay...." She said, "That's good....right?"
"It's going to go straight down and assume Land Traversing mode." Jason explained, "But I imagine that such a huge vessel will be easily spotted by the enemy fleet. But it shouldn't matter, with the minute or two that they'll have, the HC will be deployed."
"Hey." Dimaria said
Jason looked at her, "What?"
Dimaria glared at him, "You looking down on me?" She growled, "I'll kill you."
Jason's gun disappeared as he summoned his katana yet again, "Far from it." He said, "I want to take you down as fast as I possibly can. This spell is really strong to counter you but it's very taxing on my magic power. I wanna go and destroy as many ships as possible but I can't leave without leaving Kagura alone...which reminds me, Kagura, take two steps back...."
Kagura did as Jason said, which took Dimaria aback.
Dimaria raised her blade as Jason was enveloped in a dark aura but it was too late, she had already been cut multiple times all over her body.
"Eh?" Dimaria said as multiple flashes of black appeared around her, "What the...."
Her body spewed out blood as cuts appeared out of nowhere.
"Sword God's Judgement Cut"
Kagura had her eyes widened, "What speed!" She exclaimed
She was right to be shocked; Jason had launched a long-distance attack that consisted of dozens of slashes that a swordmaster like Dimaria couldn't perceive.
"My blade is so fast that it defies logic." Jason said with a serious tone, "You want swordsmanship? Sword God Slayer Magic shall be the one to bring you down...."
Dimaria staggered as she clutched her arm, "Y-You....." She said as she was enveloped in a dark grey light, "You've gone and done it.....Your power.....hurt.....Him..."
Jason smirked slightly, "Bring him out then." He said, "I wanna meet the bastard. I got a question for him."
"What's this magic power...?" Kagura said as she took a step back
Dimaria then released a massive wave of magic power as she was completely covered by the light, letting out a loud and shrieking distorted scream.
"AAAAGHGHGHHGHHH!!!!" She yelled
"TAKE OVER: "
The ground that Jason was on, even his own spell, began to shake more violently than before, causing said spell to falter just a bit.
Jason felt a powerful an ominous presence from the light that was slowly fading.
"Hm..." He said
Kagura felt it too as she readied a stance, "What is this, Jason?!" She exclaimed, "Did she say Take Over? She had that magic?!"
Jason nodded, "Yea." He said, "On your guard! I don't know if my spell will hold out now that she unleashed this...."
"GOD SOUL"
