We start our quest to look for the third dragon amulet owner "so, how's the town here I haven't
gotten a chance to see it yet." Says Leon "Oh, I haven't actually checked it out either…" I say in
awkwardness while I scratches the back of my head. We continue to walk through the town
giving it a few glances as we haven't seen it before while still focusing on our main quest. "Ok
so this signal was actually in the forest so this should be a lot easier than breaking into a prison
and rescuing them" I Say with confidence.
We approach the forest when suddenly our amulets emit a bright and our companions appear in
front of them blocking the path "Master, stop we mustn't" Furah and Terra said with visible
concern "Furah what's wrong it's just a forest" I say confused Furah and Terra begin to explain
that this forest is more dangerous than any place we would ever encounter "It's said that every
evil spirit and mindless demons stray here nothing within that forest would let live, master" Furah
says in fear, "ok, but even if that's the case we have you two to protect us" I say still feeling
confident "well that is another concern in that forest we have no power, if we go in our life force
would be extracted and it would power the creatures in there, so we cannot have a physical
body within that forest" Terra says in fear. Leon putting on a brave face says "look your sister is
in there and we have to go to save another ally, I'm not one to leave someone behind so me
and Zander will go in with our swords and we'll push through until we find the third dragon user"
Me, Furah, and Terra were surprised by Leon's sudden bravery, Terra and Furah bow down and
return back to the amulets.
Me and Leon enter the forest and instantly feel the dark aura within it, but despite our growing
fear we keep going and hold our weapons out focused on finding the user, suddenly 3 stray
demons appear with their bodies twitching they jump towards us, but luckily we're able to but
their heads off with some effort, but then a spirit appears in front of us we try out swords but
they pass right through it, we fall to the ground trying to back up, suddenly we a bright light
appears and the spirit is gone then we see a guy. We get up and notice he has an amulet too.
"So... what are your names?" I inquire, breaking the silence with a sense of curiosity and
anticipation. The room is filled with an air of mystery as I await their response.
"My partner is named Coral she controls water but I haven't been able to get her out just
telepathic conversations, oh and I am Donnavan, but everyone calls me Don," he says in , his
voice carrying a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose. Their names, though simple, seem
to hold deeper meanings, hinting at the complexities of their individual identities.
"I'm Zander", "and I I'm Leon" we say eager to establish a connection with my newfound
companions, we then ask about the light that apparently saved us "Oh that's a spirit catcher it
holds weak spirits if it takes too long the spirit will either run in fear or be extremely damaged to
be even considered a threat anymore" Don says with confidence and pride from his creation
"wow we came in here to save you but you ended up saving us quite funny" Leon says trying to
sound more calm. Eventually we leave the forest with the help of Don's very apparent
intelligence.
"There we go out of the forest all thanks to me" Don says with a smug and snobby look, I frown
hoping that Don's apparent intelligence and smugness won't cause any problems or create
unnecessary tension within our group. Once we get back to our base, I decide to retreat to a
spare room, seeking solace in solitude. As I enter the room, I can't help but feel a sense of
unease lingering in the air. The walls seem to whisper secrets, and the dim light casts eerie
shadows that dance across the floor.
Reaching out to Furah through our unique mental connection, I question her motives, seeking to
understand the underlying reasons for her unwavering loyalty and kindness. "Why are you
treating me so kindly, Furah? And please, don't tell me it's JUST because I am your master." My
voice carries a mix of curiosity and vulnerability, as I yearn for a deeper connection with my
dragon companion.
There is a moment of silence as Furah ponders her response, her thoughts intertwining with
mine in a dance of shared consciousness. Finally, she speaks, her voice resonating within the
depths of my mind. "It's because you see me as a living being with feelings. You don't treat me
like an object or a tool." Her words strike a chord within me, revealing a profound truth that I had
not fully grasped until now. Furah's revelation surprises me, but I simply nod, acknowledging the
significance of her words before deciding to rest.
As soon as my eyes close, I am transported into another realm, a realm of dreams or perhaps
visions. In this ethereal landscape, I encounter a dragon girl, her scales as black as the night
sky. It is Opal, I realize, as she turns towards me, her eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and
determination. "They really think they can change me? HA! As if," she scoffs, her voice carrying
a hint of defiance. Her words resonate within me, challenging the very notion of transformation
and the limits of our own agency.
"Hmm? Didn't notice you there. Are you here to help save the world? Cool, here's our location,"
Opal remarks, her tone shifting from skepticism to a surprising openness. Suddenly, coordinates
flood my mind, imprinting themselves upon my consciousness. The scene dissipates, leaving
me with a lingering sense of purpose and a newfound determination.
When morning arrives, I wake up abruptly, my mind still reeling from the vividness of the dream
or vision. "Man... that was strange," I mutter to myself, trying to make sense of the profound
experiences that have unfolded before me. Determined to uncover the truth behind these
visions, I decide to input the remembered coordinates into the machine, hoping that it will lead
us to our next destination.
As we proceed on our journey, attempting to locate our target, we are suddenly stoped when
Leon runs to me saying there's a demon in the village, its presence radiating an aura of
malevolence and power. Instructing the others to take different paths, I summon Furah, relying
on her strength and agility to engage in combat with the demon. However, to my surprise and
concern, Furah appears to be... losing? How is this possible? She struggles to keep up with the
demon's relentless onslaught, sustaining damage that threatens to overwhelm her.
She glances at me, her eyes filled with a mix of determination and desperation. "Master, this
demon is too powerful for me. We need to fuse!" Her words hang in the air, echoing the
possibility of a profound transformation that could alter the course of our battle. The concept of
fusion is not foreign to me, as I have witnessed it in various forms of media, but it's not like I
ever did because it's not technically real. Uncertainty grips me as I contemplate the risks and
rewards of such a decision.
Seeing Furah brought to her knees, her strength waning, I have no choice but to trust my
instincts and embrace the unknown. "Furah, fuse with me!" I declare, my voice filled with a
newfound resolve. Suddenly, her form vanishes, merging with mine as I am adorned in
unfamiliar attire. A surge of power courses through my veins, surpassing the boundaries of my
wildest imagination. The demon, now faced with a transformed and empowered version of
myself, is caught off guard, unable to match my speed and prowess. With each move, I counter
their attacks effortlessly, overpowering them swiftly and decisively.
Alongside our other two heroes, we press forward, our collective strength and determination we
defeat the demon. We return back to our base after the our battle, and we sit down gathering
our thoughts as I tell Don and Leon that I know where Opal the dragon girl with control of
darkness is.
