Alexander stiffened when he felt Auralia's small hands on his back. She seemed to notice him stiffening and paused, removing her hands from his back.
"Is the sunscreen too cold?" Auralia asked, her breath tickling his ear.
It took everything in him not to lean away from her, a little shocked at his reaction to her. She was just helping him put on sunscreen, nothing more.
"A little…" Alexander finally answered, lying through his teeth.
There was no way he was going to tell her it was actually her presence affecting him so much. His mind was just acting strange and would get over whatever this was soon.
At least he hoped so.
"Ah sorry!" Auralia exclaimed, quickly rubbing her hands together to warm up the cream a bit. She then placed her hands on his back and asked, "Is this better?"
Alexander silently nodded his head, unable to say a word. His hands clasped his knees, tightening their grip as she moved her hands. All his mind could think of was how soft they felt on his skin.
