Rohan PoV
Nina and I watched as her mommy and big brother continued making the dough for the chocolate cookies. Once they were down, I handed Nina off to Jiro and helped Matt put the dough on the pan.
Smiling at our job, I walked over to the oven and slid them into the oven with the oat cookies.
Matt watched me as I set the temperature and time for the cookies. They're to cook at 350 for 12 minutes.
We all gathered around, eager to see how they would turn out. "What do you think, Nina? Are you excited for your special cookies?" I asked.
Nina clapped her hands and squealed, her little face radiating joy. "Ba ba!" she chirped, her way of expressing her excitement.
"Looks like she's ready for her cookie adventure!" Jiro laughed.
As we waited, Matías peered through the oven door, eyes glued to the baking cookies. "They're getting bigger!" he exclaimed, bouncing on his toes.
"Yep, just like superheroes do when they get their powers!" I said, ruffling his hair again.
