Gael grinned as he watched Ore and me. He hoisted Sofia back onto his shoulders. "That's the spirit! Now, I'm gonna continue playing with my two rugrats here."
"Where is Setsuka anyway?" I asked, letting go of Ore's hand.
"Mommy went for snacks!" Sofia said, beaming.
"Hope she brings the chocolate bear cookies," Seb said, grinning.
"Sorry, no bear cookies kiddo," Setsuka said as she returned with a tray of brownies, cookies mini tarts, and some mini cupcakes. "They did have these, though."
"I want a cookie!" Seb said, reaching his hand out.
"Easy there, Seb. You might knock the tray over, spilling all the yummy food," Niconora said, smiling at her great-great-grandson.
Seb quickly pulled his hand back and frowned as if scared of some power he had. The kid was probably overreacting or overthinking what his Great-great-granny meant. Osamu did that too.
