I sighed. "I know about that, remember, I descend from them too. The couple made Xeleria using a spear to churn a sea into existence and made worlds appear from the depths below. Nami also died and became the Goddess of Death, ruling over the Realm of Death, Badadon, where the souls of the dead are said to go and await their rebirth into the cycle."
He nodded. "Yes, that is the common version of the myth. But there is another part. One that mentions Nagi using the spear to fight off fierce dragons, but not like those found in Wynaga. These were 'Primordial Dragons' who sought to destroy the young Xeleria and steal its light."
I gasped. "That sounds like the lampreys you described in your dream."
