Tasuku PoV
[Present]
I rubbed my eyes as I woke up from my nap. It took a while for my eyes to adjust to my surroundings.
"Are you okay, Tasuku?" Koyuki asked as she held some towels in her arms.
"I had a strange dream," I mumbled. "I was someone else and was being taunted by a shadow. It reminded me of the darkness within me. Uh, within me as Milo."
She frowned. "The darkness within? That sounds concerning."
I sst up and smiled. "That said, I also saw a woman who reminded me a bit of you. She seemed to be a queen of this country."
"A queen? Remember her name?"
I hummed. "Think it was Amelia. Wad there a queen by that name in real life?"
She hummed and walked over to the shelf full of books for the kids in our guest room. There were a few books for us. Mostly non-fiction stuff like history. I really liked reading about the past.
"Amelia... oh, here it is! She was the great-grandmother of your father."
So, she was a real person...
