"Damn! Why do they look so fresh?" Naruto, who donned dusty clothes and had multiple wounds, couldn't help but speak out in envy after seeing the fresh and clean state of Isagi and his teammates.
"Wow! I never knew there was another this handsome genin in Konoha?" said Ino with a surprise look on her fair face, never expecting there to be such a hidden gem in the village.
From his young skin and facial features, Isagi didn't look much older than them though his height surpassing most of his peers drawing attention, making them notice his good looks.
"Wow! Did we always draw this much attention?" said Mei, as for the first time ever feeling so much eyes on her, so different from how they were treated almost like air in the past.
"Nah! It's just a certain someone is suddenly much livelier." said Ryota with a hint of sarcasm in his tone, drawing a chuckle from Isagi.
It's not like Isagi a few days ago wasn't this attractive or tall, it's just his presence and confident aura were nowhere close to what they were now and it played a huge part on how people noticed and viewed them.
Isagi felt a gaze on him full of hate and as expected the source was the pale eyed boy, if eyes could kill, he'd be dead thousand times already.
Another intense gaze he could feel was from Lee, in his eyes an intense desire to battle him and reverse the result of their fight, Lee wasn't convinced on the defeat as Isagi during the fight had not allowed him to take off his weights, due to which he unable to use inner gates to their fullest.
Isagi to their gaze didn't show any anger and just smiled, waving at them a little and then continuing to walk towards the battle hall.
"Wow, did he just wave at me?" exclaimed Ino with an excited red face, almost thinking she was dreaming.
"Women…" said Shikamaru while shaking his head, ignoring the nympho Ino and turning to look back at Neji and Lee, knowing who that wave was meant for, though the expressions of Neji and Lee raising some curiosity in his heart.
"Hey Bushy Brow! Do you know those guys?" Naruto spotted Lee and his team looking intently at the leaving Isagi and couldn't help but step forward and ask.
At Naruto's question, other rookies also showed curious faces and looked at Team Guy for an answer.
At his question, all three went silent for a moment before Lee taking the initiative to speak. "That tall curly haired guy in the middle…I lost to him in a fight earlier…."
"WHAT!?" Shikamaru, Kiba, Naruto and Sasuke all showed shocked faces at his words, though Tenten speaking in this moment of shock.
"I'm in this condition because of them and… we had to hand them our scrolls to survive." admitted Tenten with an unwilling look on her face, Neji quiet but his clenched fists and leaking chakra showing his state, how humiliated he felt at what had happened, clearly those inferiors to him had made him hand their scrolls.
"Interesting~ to think someone this capable really missed by intelligence." Kabuto with Yoroi and Misumi heard Lee and Tenten's words, admitting his oversight. He was already somewhat interested in Isagi for having blocked his attack so easily and now this information, clearly, he had to work hard on his intelligence gathering ability.
Isagi, Mei and Ryota were unaware of what was happening behind as walking they soon arrived at their destination, a vast hall with a raised platform and many familiar and famous figures present on the platform.
"It's Lord Third." Next to Mitarashi Anko, the chief proctor of second exam was an old man with a smoke pipe in his mouth, donning the Hokage haori and red hat, Mei pointing it out as the number of times they had seen Sarutobi from this distance being no more than two or three.
"If only I could copy him but…sigh…" But in Isagi's eyes Sarutobi was no more than a huge treasure trove to copy advanced ninjutsu from, which he needed the most at the moment.
Sarutobi Hiruzen was famous around the world for his mastery of all attributes ninjutsu and Isagi was sure his inventory included ninjutsu way more than even Kakashi had copied, who was said to have copied a thousand.
