The Asura driver's plan was quite good. Use almost all of its nitrous to create a lot of distance between itself and Adam, take the turn, and continue speeding forward while the rest will have to slow down, allowing the Asura to continue maintaining the distance they had just created.
Never did the Asura's driver expect Adam would execute a long, accurate drift to take that high-speed turn and almost catch up to them.
Seeing Adam was right behind them once again, the Asura's driver felt frustration.
They thought they would win this race easily and advance. In fact, they had deliberately chosen this race to participate in because this one would not have any heavy hitters that they were aware of.
But never did they expect that an unknown driver would come forward and leave everyone stunned with his skills.
Adam's Stratosurge caught up to Asura and immediately took first place again. Frustrated, Asura's driver slipped up and couldn't defend their position.
